I was just going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were blacked out.

Nubinile was a courtesy clerk in High School. They offered employees a free cell phone from GTE wireless in the 1990's! All you had to pay for were the minutes. Which was something like 0.50 a minute local calls only. I still have the same phone number from that plan.

That is correct. The newly elected Governor Bevin ordered the old Board of Trustees to be dissolved and that Ramsey resign immediately from the university presidency. Two weeks and a couple absurd board meetings later the newly appointed Board finally accepted Ramsey's resignation.

The crazy part is that the KY courts are currently deciding whether Gov. Bevin's order to totally replace the UofL Board of Trustees was legal or not. If they decide his order was illegal then the old board will probably be reinstated. The good news is that the old board was probably going to kick Ramsey out anyway, maybe taking a little longer to do it, though. Pretty much the whole situation is a mess.

Fun Fact: Governor Bevin has declared that he will continue to grow his beard out until he is "no longer being sued by people in state government."

Another Fun Fact: John Schnatter, the founder of Papa John's Pizza, Mr. Papa John himself, is on the newly appointed UofL Board of Trustees!

The sky is being held up by aging infrastructure while we wait for the completion of our new construction projects.

I believe there was something about the Governor dissolving the Board of Directors in order to force Ramsey to resign too. A lot is going on over there

One thing I noticed that I liked was a kid saying "Foster is the best and could have gone anywhere, but stayed loyal to VT" (paraphrasing). I don't know if that is true (don't care/it sounds plausible), and I'm pretty sure Foster wouldn't say it himself (it was likely another coach), but that is sales right there. You need to toot your own horn once in a while to make a sale. Foster is a "product" that I think has been neglected on the recruiting trail far too long. And it looks like somebody has figured it out.

Another "product" Fuente has to work with is VT - which I don't think anyone would argue -
is a nice upgrade from Memphis. If you can sell Memphis, you start thinking of going for the brass ring at VT, when you likely wouldn't have tried before.

This latest round of commits has definitely instilled confidence in the staff, and man, when you have that...you start rolling. This is definitely getting exciting, and everything I hoped for when we first got Fuente.

Even if there were half that total, it would have reversed the result in 3-5 games. Our record changes significantly at that point.

I'm just a little sad about the "no dancing" thing. Maybe winning the natty will make him bust a move.
