Yep... been trying to avoid this thread for that very reason. It's one thing if they're selling themselves as awesome at recruiting and we're lapping them, but mocking then for having essentially the same class as us?

I'd prefer not to build up the bad karma like that this offseason.

I've lived in NE Ohio for the last decade. My neighbors across the street are Hokies. I snuck a VT gnome into their front garden when they moved in a couple years ago. It's still comforting to see somebody else sporting VT stuff all the time.

Disney World is expensive, but in my opinion worth it, particularly for kids.

Like others have said, when kids get older, they start to want to go to Universal.

For adults, Epcot is worth a day.

Slightly further off topic - but Disney World as a lot of really cool internship and career opportunities for IE's. I work with a handful of former interns, and they're all fun, sharp people. If you're still a student, and interested in industrial engineering, it's worth checking out.

Once again this ignores the fact that FIFA rankings are complete garbage. USA is 23 in elo. I'm sure I could find another ranking system that could show us higher and another that shows us lower.

I refuse to base my, or others, views on our entire soccer outlook on the rankings released by the most corrupt governing body in sports.

we have a solid core of young players, too. Yedlin and especially Christian Pulisic have the potential to be world class in a few years. the future is bright.

World. Sorry.

I haven't had bourbon for a while so, my brain isn't working.

The think attached to the key says "Disney World". Just sayin...

See, that was confusing me when I was at the game this past Nov. I would see folks decked out in Hokie standing to sing the Boohoos "fight" song. After the initial confusion I concluded that it HAD to be lost bets.

Doesn't hurt that Tech produces a bunch of Navy, Marine, and Air Force flyers, and Navarre is surrounded by bases in every direction but south.

Are you at Disney World or Disney Land?

Totally agree. If wearin' them is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Cersei and her supporters have proven effective at manipulating public support, both through what amounts to propaganda, and by implied threat. I doubt many people question who is responsible for the violence leading up to Cersei mounting the throne, and of those, all would likely realize that fleeing the court would not be taken well and likely result in bodily harm. She's got Robert Strong, Qyburn and his evil Newsies, and a large, loyal force of regular troops. Essentially, you stay and try not to stand out much or piss her off and probably live, or you try to leave and meet your probable death.

We will probably never know exactly what the "canon" is on this scene, as the producers have already stated we will never find out the transcript of what was said.

But it raises some really interesting questions, especially if you subscribe to the theory that Bran Stark, as the TER, has had the ability to go back and influence a number of past events, if in no other way than he made sure the destined result occurred.

For starters, Jaehaerys I was the king that originally provided the Night's Watch with the New Gift. A piece of land that was extremely instrumental in Jon Snow being able to convince the Wildlings to come south of the Wall, a decision that lead not only to 1) his death, 2) his resurrection, 3) a significant piece of his military force that led to 4) him becoming King of the North.

Secondly. Jaehaerys was also the king that actually received the original Prince That Was Promised prophecy. What better person to deliver the prophecy than your younger half brother that can go back to any point in time and also has the power to control people's minds even in the past to do/say things of his choosing.
