Dany definitely has that Targaryen ruthlessness to her, but I do think they have made it clear she genuinely cares about the people that she rules, and that she doesn't want to be viewed how everyone views her father.
That whole "make this world better than where we found it" speech seems to be her ultimate MO, which is why I can see a natural transition to her battling the White Walkers once she learns of their existence.
And we are starting to see a transition of power to people like Yara softening the Ironborn, Sansa/Jon leading House Stark, etc, that may generally be the closest approximation we have to "good" people in this world. Not to mention after next episode there may not be an Iron Throne left to even claim, as evidenced by all the hints and Dany's own visions
I don't believe Benjen can pass the Wall. I also believe that Bran should not pass the Wall - remember what Benjen said about Bran being ready to meet the Night King at the Wall. If Bran passes it, the magical barrier is broken, like the Three Eyed Raven's cave. I think if Bran passes the Wall, the Wall comes down. Maybe that will happen, but I don't think it will be because Benjen told him to cross.
I think we're done with Arya for this season. She has a long journey ahead; I assume season 7 will pick up with how she's traveling.
Jaime and the Freys are going to come together, and I have a feeling that won't end well for Walder Frey. I just don't yet know what Jaime's justification will be.
To be fair though, Click really impressed me at the spring game...I don't think he'll be the guy, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him be said guy down the road.

November 1, 2003: Miami vs VT: Lane stadium, west stands, around the 40-yard line. I came back to the 'burg hoping to find some reasonably priced tickets or, failing that, to watch at the Hokie House. Instead, my father-in-law's boss had an extra ticket and offered it to me for free. Best seats I'd ever had for a Hokie game since the 1995 Cincinnati debacle, where a few friends and I ditched our student seats and filled in some empty seats in the third row right behind the Hokie bench in the pouring rain.
December 4, 2004: VT vs Miami: Watched in my living room in Ohio with a few Hokie friends.
November 5, 2005: Miami vs VT: Same as 2004
September 8, 2007: VT vs LSU: Same again. This is about the time I decided I had to leave Ohio and get back to VA so I could get to more Hokie games.
November 26, 2011: VT vs LOLUVa (38-0, bro): Hooters in Myrtle Beach. Family vacation in MB every year for Thanksgiving week. I never get to go to the UVa games any more.
I honestly would not be surprised if a starter is not named by the Liberty game. I have a feeling we will see a healthy dose of both Evans and Motley in that game. I'm not sure if it has as much to do with one not separating himself from the other, but possibly more about Fuente playing his cards extremely close to the vest. I don't think we will find out anything substantive about this offense or our QB1 until the Battle at Bristol.
That's true, and I'm surprised we don't see more of it happening. I assume it's because the European leagues have their own feeder systems and are probably reluctant to bring in an American for one year. It's probably not good for the morale of the young guys coming up through the ranks. Still, it'd be much better if a guy who couldn't/didn't want to play college ball had an opportunity to pursue his career without having to leave the country. And it'd be better for the NCAA if the guys playing ball there actually wanted to be there and had to stick around a few years.
Agreed, and I'm not totally against it, if only because it is part of the game. There is some level of gamesmanship and setting up a free kick in good position can be the difference in winning and losing a game. That said, it's the flopping combined with how aggressively they overreact to everything, it's like a team full of that one kid who whines about EVERYTHING.

I continue to like these out of state recruits coming in. Seems we are getting a lot of speed, demonstrating another difference between Fuente & Lefty's offenses.
I know some complain that we aren't getting big star guys, but it's obvious we are getting system guys.

I don't think so. Sansa in the HBO series is just ahead of Sansa in the books in terms of her character development arc. So more of that "I'm not going to take it anymore, I'm Queen of the North lets destroy these traitors" attitude is coming out in the show, while in the books she's still undercover and isn't leading any kind of fight against the Boltons, Freys or Lannisters - yet.
Messi is one of the very very few exceptions but by and large almost all of South America is full of floppers and divers. It drives me nuts! South American teams are the worst offenders.

Common sense kinda dictates that it'll be Evans. But only time will tell. IMO, I thought Click (or maybe apparently it was Jackson...one of the young guys either way) looked the best at the spring game. And that was playing with the twos...I'm not sure we'll get stellar QB play this year but I think the future is bright at that position. By 2018 we might be talking about first round draft status for our QB. It's been a long time since we've done that.

For reference I was born in 92 (23 yrs old) if that makes the first few make sense.
I think the show is pretty clearly setting up for something more along the lines of Dany conquering the old ways of the Seven Kingdoms, bringing freedom rather than a traditional ruler of the Seven Kingdoms deal, and then Kingdoms, given the option of freedom (Dany's quote about how others may also ask for freedom), will unite with her and Jon Snow to fight the Night King's army in the North. Probably lots of characters we love dying along the way, hopefully not Jon, Tyrion, or Dany.
I want to post something negative about Motley being named the starter, but I just can't. I just like that kid. I hope he has worked his ass off, and manna rains down from the sky on his qb skills. He's gonna need it.
