heard this guys stories on ESPN radio Sunday before the draft. Guy never played football in his life before playing for Germany and seems to be some freak athlete. Could be a nice surprise in the draft.
This type of effort (uniform combos, fashion, etc) isn't directed to Alumni. That's not their audience. It's directed at the recruits who like to be in style with the latest fashion. That's who it is (and should be) directed towards. If, say, the current trend was to do all old-school style uniforms since that's what the new generation of recruits like then i'm all for that. As it's not, we should all be on board with whatever styles the new recruits want.
Sure - Alumni "pay" the program - so some people argue that they should have a say since they are paying. Well if that's the case then you can pay to see a losing program since we don't get the recruits we want since we're still stuck in a backwards mentality.
It's funny, I was speculating with some coworkers the other day about Bran in the same vein as you just mentioned.
That being, what if due to the warging and the time paradoxes that apparently can work here in the GoT world, what if every Bran Stark was the same "being" in some fashion.
Would certainly present some very interesting possibilities, what with Bran the Builder and the prevailing theory that the Nights King was a Bran Stark as well (obviously the origin of the Nights King in the books and the story has been presented very differently, but could still see the showrunners going in that direction.
Yes clearly one example of a perennial top-5 program who could probably wear anything they wanted and still win an NC stretches across the entire college landscape to prove a point.
Let's forget about TCU, Baylor, and yes even UMD and how they've been impacted. That sounds about right.
Hopefully some of their 2016 recruits ask out of their NLIs and we can get some late adds.
I stand corrected on the HC firing, now let's see if anyone else's head roll.
We have been expanding our recruiting footprint, haven't we?

I think if the investigation shows that Briles had knowledge of at least some of this, there isn't a way he can be kept on as the coach. Baylor would be torpedo-ing themselves if the reports show Briles ignored accusations like this and they keep him (side note: I think I had read that there was already evidence that Briles had some knowledge of this, can anyone confirm?). If that is the case, he's a dead man walking. If he gets fired for this, he'll never coach again.
I think it was both Phil Taylor, former Baylor DT, as well as Shawn Oakman, were both former Nittany Lions or PSU commits. Acquaintances have told me that there was some kerfuffle with at least one of them at some point up here, but I don't know details. I do know that they feel like they dodged a bullet when they went to Baylor.
EDIT: Well, I guess that is that. Apparently there was enough to get rid of Briles. I don't think he'll work again.
After performing a very thorough background check, of course...
Wow.
Fuente should offer very single skilled position commit they have.
The Cowboys will..... After another year of underperforming with Garrett, Jerry will go after him for his crazy offensive numbers. Plus we all know Jerry loves guys with Red Flags.

Shocked they actually did this. Who is going to hire him.
Good riddance to him and everyone else involved.
But Mance serves no purpose in the show now. It's true that they glamoured Rattleshirt to look like Mance, but in the show Rattleshirt was killed at Hardhome. And in the books, Mance's role was to infiltrate Winterfell and figure out what was going on with/rescue fake Arya. Sansa's storyline overtook that entirely so they're definitely not going that route.
Briles fired?
Baylor dismisses coach Art Briles, source told @ESPN. Briles informed players via text, source said. Announcement expected at noon ET— Brett McMurphy (@McMurphyESPN) May 26, 2016
i'm wondering if it's not mance that comes back. pretty sure in the book it wasn't mance that was burned it was the lord of bones and melisandre had some magic that switched mance to look like him.
This thread is worthless without cheerleader pics.
The perspective on that touchdown run gives a good sense of how long a run that was. I got winded just watching.
They should be able to bring back Quicksilver, the same way they did Coulson.
Yep, because I totally said that the band was illegitimate /s. Seriously I like them too (particularly the song "Drugs Don't Work"). But they are most well-known for ripping off the Rolling Stones. Just sayin
I think I'll pass on taking scheduling tips from UVA. I would hesitate to go all the way to the west coast.
Memphis would be a good game to schedule, has the added intrigue.

Official song of the 757 hoos:
Sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watchin' the tide roll away.
Sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time.....
