When I took a tour of the athletic facilities a few years back, our guide told us that most players are around 5 years and do indeed finish with multiple degrees, either 2 undergrad or bachelor's + master's. Being on a full scholarship gives these guys such opportunity for their futures, if they make the most of it.

Very interesting thought. I've seen others where folks believe it could be any other little brother, perhaps a Bran or someone else, that brings her down. While I don't see the Hound killing her because I think the thought is that he is reformed into a person of faith, I could see his actions resulting in the High Sparrow and his followers killing her. I like your thinking though.

Ya I was later told that this wasn't the conclusion of civil war that there will be a part 2. They are just pumping out so many of these movies the timeline is getting all jacked up though. Even in this thread though you see people wondering why captain America was on the side he was and it's hard to understand because of how they portrayed it in the movies. One of the biggest sticking points for him was having to reveal their true identifies b/c it puts people they care about in danger and that point was completely disregarded.

Good points, and I think you nailed it with your last sentence. I love what they're doing with her but I also would rather see Jon rule the north UNLESS HE RULES THE IRON THRONE BECAUSE HE'S TARGARYEN then in such case Sansa can be queen in the north.

Speculation alert

I was thinking the other day about Maggy the Frog's prophecy:

And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.

Now, valonqar means "little brother," and many believe this means Tyrion (in fact, that's what Cersei thinks). So of course that's not true, because GRRM reasons. Now, if Clegane Bowl comes to pass (likely), does this mean that The Hound (the little brother) will slay The Mountain and kill Cersei? If Sandor wins the fight, then Cersei is convicted of her crimes. I think she will only shed tears at the death of her children and her own downfall. Would this be the real prophecy, come to pass? Something to chew on.

If the show involves the Manderlys, there's no way Sansa & Co. lose Bastard Bowl, but I don't know if that will happen. The whole "North remembers" narrative is way too pervasive, though (call back to the letter from House Mormont to Stannis: there is only one King in the North, and his name is Stark). The Boltons will lose, but the whole story arc will do more than just be a "good guys vs. bad guys" fight, because GRRM hates clichés. Just look at Sansa's development. Really the whole war against Ramsay is more of an underlying plot device to show her growth from a fragile little girl into a badass woman in charge.

Maybe that gives merit to the theory that Shaggydog is alive and this Umber thing is an Umbercon. Pleaseeeee give me more direwolves :(

I originally wanted Jon to execute Ramsay but Sansa is breaking bad in a very very sexy and awesome way so I think I want her to do it now. Either way, it's going to be a sweet moment. Part of me also fears that D&D are gonna ruin our lives Jon and company lose Bastard Bowl.

Yes, the skins. OMG, a loyal fan of their hometown team thinks that they will break a 0.500?! What an unrealistic and delusional goal (this applies to any team)! That's called being a fan, not delusional.

I mean seriously, like what non-rival fan spends so much effort ripping on a team that won their division twice in the last 4 years? Or what's your beef with the NFC East?

Exception to the rule: you can rip on your rival team for any reason you want. Also the Cowboys are fair game to rip on for any reason

Still a very entertaining movie and definitely better than DCs equivalent, but thought it could have been much better if they touched on some of the points mentioned in this thread. The mutant registration, no unmasked/unidentified heros, using "rehabilitated" mutants who were clearly whack jobs to help stark's side etc.

They could still touch on those as the story progresses. Who knows what they will throw in during Dr. Strange, Black Panther, etc. I'd say the only movies that won't move the Earth storyline too far forward will be Thor 3 and Guardians 2 (although both could do that anyway).

I think there is a lot of potential with this color scheme but they need Nike to revamp the branding. I don't think it's necessarily bland, just not creatively implemented.

Some other things that share the yellow and brown:
Yellow and brown hognose snake (they could change their mascot to this)
Brown and yellow marshbird (they shouldn't change their mascot to this)
Brown and yellow giant swallowtail butterfly (they also shouldn't change their mascot to this)
Brown and yellow hornet (they should change their mascot to this immediately)

We don't even consider them an SEC school.

If you can't beat em, join em close your eyes and pretend they're not there, refusing to acknowledge their very existence as an SEC school, until they've packed their bags and left for the Georgia Dome to play in your conference championship that you haven't participated in since 2007, and once they're out of earshot, claim that you beat em
