IF that is true, then I suspect he won't be around very long...that is an indicator of a total lack of commitment.
I'll admit I don't have one. I go in hoping for a great script with as seamless transitions as possible and believing that the actors and actresses did the best job they could researching and preparing to portray their characters. I'll admit I was worried and disappointed when I first learned Affleck was selected for the role of the Dark Knight. I remembered Daredevil and was thinking to myself "just wtf were they smoking" and "PLEASE don't eff this up". When I realized that I couldn't do anything about it I just accepted it with the hope that he would work hard and do the best job he could. I feel like he pulled it off successfully. Do I feel like Snyder and tied to shove too much into the film? Sure. But that's not enough for me to declare it average or mediocre at best. Again, I don't have a system or format for grading films, but based on the comments from yourself and Vtkey, it sounds as though y'all do. That's fine. I'm just curious what it is (and you've yet to still explain it, I've noticed). I've enjoyed this discussion.
For Dwayne Lawson? Yes.
I was told that Lawson missed practice yesterday because he overslept. Bad timing for a kid hoping to win the starting job.
Based on some videos I've seen online, Kuntz insn't scared to get plowed when there are 8 or 9 in the box!! Sounds like a great Tight End to me.
As mentioned above, Travon is jacked. That definitely is a running back body and not a QB body. We had a dude jacked like that in HS as a RB, and he use to make train noises as he rain. Wonder if Travon does too.
Possibility:
The dude filming probably could only make it for a portion of the practice, and that was when they were running more Evans. So thats all he got.
Conspiracy?
The dude only showed good Evans clips and bad clips of Lawson, though Lawson is the number one, so that no one scouting the team would know what to think of the new offense.
I am pretty sure several,of you spend more dissecting the clips than anyone did on what to put in it. With all the closed media stuff they probably worry more about what not to show than what to show. I'm. Ore interested in effort and attitude than what they show at this point, and like what I see.
In the few clips of Evans I've seen, I thought the same.
So basically, can't hit, can't pitch, can't field. Not much else you can do in baseball. I remember a few years ago we hosted a regional. Now I realize there are two things that greatly effected this team: losing coach Pete Hughes, and the nature of college baseball in losing kids to the draft. But it happens to everyone. When Hughes left I knew it was going to be a blow but I didn't think it would be this bad. His teams you knew could knock the ball all around the yard and score with anyone.
I just don't get that feeling with coach Mason. I wasn't thrilled with the hire initially. Not because I didn't think he couldn't do it, rather because I hated how Mr. Weaver went about hiring him. It was like Hughes left us and 2 hours later Mason was hired.
I know baseball isn't going to be a money sport but you still have to do your due diligence when evaluating the direction of a VT sports program. I don't want to say that Coach Mason shouldn't be coaching because I honestly don't know enough about the college baseball coaching landscape to say that he needs more time or if this is as good as it gets. However if I'm Mr. Babcock I'm definitely reviewing the progress the baseball team has been making over the past few years and evaluating the direction of the program.
I played baseball in high school at a what was once one of the top programs in NJ. I mostly rode the bench, but I remember coming to Tech hearing the stories that the club baseball team was better than the varsity team. I remember thinking I might have a better shot at trying out for varsity rather than the club team. That's when coach Hughes was really getting this team ramped up and as time went on it was clear that variety was a whole other level compared to the club team. Following the team now, it seems like they've regressed and that's not something Whit will let stand.
Ahhh, we have been profiled. Advantage given to the hunt and peck typists. Very clever. Garden and Gun really doesn't want us to win.
Anyone think the Cooling off message has more to do with speed of votes. I was visiting my family got bored n voted on my phone. Slow going but went well over 100 and never got the message! But on my laptop where I can go much faster, I hit it around 40ish? Wasn't really counting, just trying to go fast as possible and I got the message. Just a theory.
LOL Still ticked they aren't showing the poll numbers! Had more fun watching us come from 15 down to pull even Thursday morning. Great job TKPers!
The team also gives up an unacceptable number of unearned runs that costs them a chance at winning any close games. They don't hit well enough to cover for poor pitching or bad fielding.
Just hit one, and it didn't take 150 votes to get there. Wish it did.

Obviously as mentioned above, the snaps heavily featured Evans, often w the 1's, BUT while it is too soon to assume anything too strongly from short video clips, I think we can all agree he looks the part. Looks big and well put together.
Simple answer is terrible pitching. We have a 6 ERA OOC and a dreadful 8.16 in conference. You aren't going to win many games giving up 8 runs per contest. Keep in mind half of the losing streak is against ranked teams in Miami, Georgia Tech, and Louisville. Losing to Radford though there is no excuse for. If you had to point the finger at one guy it has to be Packy Naughton, who has an 8.90 Era over 29+ innings, third most innings on the team.
This. He has a lot of kinks in his game to work out and isn't exactly the most athletic guy on the floor. He's a bit of a project who I wouldn't count on big things from until his 2nd or 3rd year
BTN revenue and tourney units from BIG are pretty good every year.
That still places them 10/14 in the B1G. Note that 12 of the B1G teams are in the top 35. Without seeing the breakdown myself, I'd guess BTN revenue has to be a big reason.
iPhone fail double post
WHAT IS THIS, A STADIUM FOR ANTS!!! IT NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST 3 TIMES BIGGER!!!
Editor's note: still large enough to seat all the fans at the LOLUVa spring game.
How is Northwestern (#23) so high when they have never made the NCAA tournament? Penn State, South Florida, and Auburn were puzzling to me as well. Admittedly I didn't read the article and just looked at the list but still I'm going to have trouble buying the methodology just based on that.
It's nice to get rid of the Wahoo, but the next block over you see "Cavaliers" everywhere.
One thing's for certain; embarassing football.
At least we're not Detroit... Could this be spoofed for UVA?

So it sounds like it's between Evans and Mot.
