I picture it more like this:

right click, "search google for image", result says "broad city" which is apparently a show on Comedy Central. Learn something new every day...
Yeah, but did you catch where, after coming back last game, their coach said the come back against VT was harder, and was one of the reasons they were able to believe and fight back to win a sweet sixteen game?
skinny jeans, I'm sure
I highly, highly doubt Boeheim ever had the table set for him quite like UVA did this season. They were handed a free ticket to the Final Four, and they subsequently left it in their jeans and put it through the washer.
You get a trophy for winning your region. That's how much of an accomplishment the NCAA considers it to make it to that last weekend of the season.
I think the one thing you are not considering is how big of a deal making the final 4 is in college basketball. While it's only one game between elite 8 and final 4, there is a huge gap in the accomplishments of each. I view it as winning the AFC or NFC championships in the NFL. It's like you won your region and made it to the best of the best; it's not the national championship but it is a top accomplishment to be a final 4 team.

Boeheim played at Cuse and it was the 70's a complete different era of college sports.
Forgot to post this one

Speaking for myself, I had a great Easter, despite the weather putting the kibosh on my fishing trip in the morning. The ham came out really good, the chocolate pie was awesome, then the 'hoos lose...damn fine day!
That's hyperbole at its finest.
UVA basketball is relevant under Bennett, and in the landscape of college sports, that's pretty significant. Will they take a step back next year from losing a great senior class? Likely. But they also have a great 2016 recruiting class coming in, one that's ranked #8 in the country by 247's composite rankings.
This was Bennett's 7th season at UVA. In Boeheim's first 7 years at Syracuse, he never made it farther than the Sweet 16. So under your logic, people should have questioned whether or not Syracuse was capable of taking the next step under him.

Was Georgia Tech's head coach the one that looked like Marty McFly?
Or he could be pulling a Buzz and leaving for the P5 football stability
they'll brag about their tennis championship
Apparently Vandy is his dream job, that's the only way I could see him leaving because I just don't see how someone would rather coach at Vandy than VCU at the moment.
"Sue me."? No need, you already got your just reward for rooting for them.
Keep in mind, Taylor played in Foster's 4-4 defense and Hall in the 4-3. Not saying there hasn't been a dropoff at LB in terms of quality players, but it's also a tall order to expect that level of production from the LB spot in the 4-2-5. Neither Taylor nor Hall would post the numbers they posted in this scheme.
Georgia Tech could very well be another Boston College in the conference next season with the loss of 7 seniors and a new head coach.
Wot?
Going to disagree that it is wise to spend the resources needed on it at this point.
WBball at least can come close to being neutral when it comes to revenue/expenses, but as has been well debated VT is working with a smaller budget than peer schools like Clemson, and we need to be aware of that and not stretch thin.
Would much rather accept so-so performance in some of the teams, and perhaps expand the non coaching football staff for instance. We don't have the money to be world class in all sports and it is important to target those we can be.
I like the WBball hire but there needs to be an upper price tag too that Whit had in mind, so long as Scar, ND, UConn, et al. continue to field teams sustained national success is pretty much not in the cards for us in the sport.
Women' Soccer is tied with Wrestling for our best chance to win a national title in the immediate future. Ended the 2015 season #13 in the nation, though 4 ACC schools finished higher, including UVA, and Duke's loss in the title game.
True, at least they have that to fall back o....
Oh, they lost 15-0 to Louisville yesterday? So much for that

I would say Briz is next too. He has been there for a while with little success. He also has a very high turnover rate of players. Usually losing at least a few non seniors each spring and fall season. Great guy though off the field. Has rubbed quite a few players the wrong way on the field though.
