Not at all. He knew Lawson was here and that VT is going to recruit a QB every single year, as will any other school trying to compete at a high level.
One of the truly great things about enrolling early is if you go thru spring and think you are buried forever, you can transfer, redshirt, and still have 4 years of eligibility.
Personally, I think he is a very good prospect and could easily be a 2-3 year starter.
The best part is he kind of looks like a young Whit Babcock.

Some of the best hits have been but wrapping up a guys legs usually doesn't make the highlights. I love a good form tackle and appreciate it when I see it as do most of the folks here but the casual fan likes the big hits. Give me a 14 tackle stat line for a guy who doesn't make the highlight reel any day.
Would Whit necessarily want make AS big moves (I'm still expecting him to make big moves regardless) in these sports seeing as they don't bring in any ticket revenue like women's basketball does?
Coach Briz is a great, great guy, but he's 7-40-12 in the ACC, so I'd expect he's next.
I mean hell, they were the #1 seed of their Region and they were gifted the 10 seed, who most thought shouldn't have even been in the tournament, as their opponent to make it to the Final Four. That's like getting to the Orange Bowl and being gifted Kansa.....

Somewhat agree, but to me some of the best hits I've ever seen have been picture perfect form tackles.
Unfortunately good tackling technique is not showy. It is good to see he wraps up on the tackles and appears to read the offense well. We will see how he handles misdirection and triple option offenses, but he has a good start.

LMAO. Yes, obviously this is always the correct answer. I just wasn't clear if the people who opened his cell were colluding to get Batman into Lex's cell, or if Batman infiltrated it completely on his own. There were so damn many dream sequences/vision in the film, I couldn't help but wonder if it was actually real, up until the point that the scene continued after Batman had left. That scene will definitely require a rewatch.
