I was gonna say, surely there are some TKPers on here that can "backdoor" the site so we could, I dunno....maybe....ya know.

Whit is showing that sometimes in order to make money you have to spend money. I am glad that we have someone like Whit spending the money, though.... because things could go south fast if you have someone who isn't good at long term planning spending money... ahem... Maryland...

I don't suspect anything underhanded. I think Weaver was focused on doing one thing: keeping the ship afloat. I think he lacked the creativity, vision, and marketing acumen that Whit has so far shown. Weaver wanted to keep what we had running in the black. Whit wants to keep us in the black by doing things we've never done before. Stark difference.

There are plenty of stars in pro football and pro basketball that were not highly recruited high school players. There is a huge physical transition that happens to some athletes in their college years in size and/or ability, and it isn't obvious which players will completely transform like that; the vast majority of players don't.

So yea, we missed on Steph Curry, but there is no point in worrying about it, because there just isn't any way to know which middle of the pack high school player is the next NBA superstar.

Without intending to, I have started to react the same way to finding out a recruit projects as a whip, or moving a former recruit I was excited about to whip. The whips' presence has been largely absent or insignificant recently. However, Shegog's use late in the season may signal something of an resurgence for the position.

The winner of Clemson/Athens is going to be a tough out. Especially if it's Athens.

certainty has some swagger! I know that doesn't mean hes a great player. but I cant tell you how much I miss the excitement and emotion from our D the last couple of years. and boy does he get excited after every play he makes that stuff is contagious and I want to get back to being the flying around in your face attitude disrespectful defense that we used to be!

The crappie fishing has blown up here around the Middle Peninsula. Beaverdam Reservoir in Gloucester is producing numbers and size. A buddy and I got dozens of nice ones last Friday at a private pond nearby. Spring has most definitely sprung.

Man I love the fact that he is going to be the grandpa for all our future players. He is shaping up to be the cool gramps with all the cool stories of yesteryears!
