One of my friends and I always had a tradition of closing down the park several times during the summer and we'd always ride the Grizzly as many times as we could without getting off from about 15 minutes before the park closed until they kicked us out. There's just something about the Grizzly despite how much it beats you up.
the grizzly is legendary. I hope they never get rid of it. KD was my childhood themepark...we went there all the time and those wooden coasters were always the family favorites. even with all the new stuff that came up over the decades
I can Volunteer to get this going every month.. will make it enjoyable
He had a tendency to look back for the ball, which cost him a step and made him look slow, like in the clip above?
I hate to copy a gif already used on this page but...

Come on guys.....Sam is way more entertaining than Keanu Reaves.
Facyson's comp% against him was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed those corner stats David Hale would post occasionally throughout the season, not always easy to find that data.
2017 WR Hezekiah Grimsley visited Virginia Tech yesterday.

I don't buy Maddy digressed (or regressed even). His numbers don't match his production in 2013 (a stellar season), but his 2015 campaign came on the heels of his torn meniscus/knee injury. Given Tech's recent subpar results for rehabilitating injuries, Maddy exceeded my expectations for him I had before the season. I think the eye test is most telling, but both the ACC's coaches and media voted him All-ACC (second and first team, respectively).
Edit: Not to pile on, but this just came across my timeline and is related.
Only #ACC interior linemen w/50+ tackles last season:Luther Maddy, VT - 57AJ Wolfe, Duke - 54BJ Hill, NCSU - 50— David Hale (@DavidHaleESPN) March 23, 2016
Wasn't trying to be sarcastic haha. The above clip is an example of poor technique and a mental mistake, that he made up for with an athletic dive. That play was not an indictment of his speed.
As of late last season, Alexander had given up the highest comp % of anyone in the ACC. Facyson was the best.
Small sample size, I guess.
Saw a bolt relaying the same info on 247, but never saw a follow up post anywhere except for one detailing his visit to Knoxville.

[not sure how sarcastic that is, so read it either way (/s)]
I leave it up to the viewer as to which opponent "they" refers to.

I think this is a great idea! Looking forward to it already!
Does anyone know if these guys visited 2 weekends ago?

Slade will be a huge target, especially with Laborn as likely (or more likely) to go elsewhere than he is to come here. Would love to land another stud back.
Interesting, I can't recall thinking he was slow last year, maybe hesitant here and there, but not slow. Then again, straight line speed is overrated, 4.5ish with great hips and technique is lockdown. Were there moments I may be forgetting?
The good thing is Sam Rogers is on our side so it will more likely be a 15 yard penalty on Jones for looking into Sam's eyes and then a game ejection for interruption of Dork Magic.
I really was amazing the difference losing DW4 made on LT3.
NFL talent was a non-factor last year
nice thing

I had the same thought. I like it! Is it September yet?
And not just DW4, but Boykin and Coale the same year. Losing a star RB and record-setting WR in the same year, with poor recruiting behind them, left that offense in shambles.
RB Ricky Slade, 247Sports' current No. 1 player in VA for the 2018 cycle, will be on campus today.
2018 RB Ricky Slade of Hylton HS, 2018 OL/DL Dallas Caporaletti of Liberty HS are headed to see the #Hokies today, according to Hylton asst.— Alex Koma (@AlexKomaVT) March 23, 2016

Don't believe that they made it.
