This was just posted. Ken, Woody, and Sam talk about the transition and changes with new coaches. Also, a bit of a look at Spring practice drills.
I think we have seen more mistakes in inside leverage situations than we are used to. Like most techniques, when it's played perfectly, inside leverage looks brilliant. When it's played poorly, it looks stupid.
Not to be confused with "regular trips to Charlotte".
Looking forward to Syracuse. We know they play in the Dome, but on the drive in/shuttle from the parking lots, you pass a giant shiny facility named after a "Carmelo K. Anthony" or someone to that effect, no idea who that is (/s). Looks like you could do all kinds of things in there, but I didn't see inside.
Keep watching. It gets really good at the end.
This is the type of guy we need to start getting.
This is probably the detail I am missing. I don't check it all that often and they must be expiring before I get around to seeing them. I am doing exactly as you described and just missing them.
I can (mostly) deal with the recruiting letdowns (hell, I've been used to it for awhile now), what I won't be able to deal with is if we drop it against them this upcoming season.
Something, something, archer.gif.
This will either bolster or weaken the value that facilities have in recruiting. To help that argument you could maybe include some recruiting class rankings over the past couple of year or a before and after analysis around the time that a university completed a major facility upgrade, both basketball and football.
I've hit my first cooling off period of the day @ 9:35 and I'm in a online training class all day
EDIT: 2nd cooling off period @ 11:54 - it was hovering around 52.74 for the good guys.
Gray leaving kind of turned the whole "keep the defensive staff intact" plan on its ear.
I blame Patrick Dosh.
nice thing this year
Context, my friend.
Right now Duke has a direct line into Benedictine. It's going to be a hard place to recruit from until Fuente gets going ..
I hate it when NC schools keep getting Va players. We need to stop this trend!
Looks like Duke. Go figure.
I think with a lot of these early announcements, I dont know if Im expecting many VT announcements. Fuente has only been here for what? 4 - 5 months, and its not like Richt at Miami who had a track record at a Power-5. I imagine most people are expecting this to be a Duke announcement. I think this spring will be crucial, and honestly next year, what the offense looks like, will impact where some of these kids ultimately end up.
I think if we come in with a flashy offense and a stout defense, and the buzz from this early spring keeps rising into the fall, I could see that translating on the recruiting front. Right now though, I wouldnt get too discouraged by announcements that dont go VT's way.
When does the third video end? Getting into my second hour and the wife is wanting me to do some yard work.
Hendon Hooker announcing tomorrow as well.
If he doesn't make it to the pros, I'm thinking with a name like that he would be a natural hunting werewolves & other such spawn of hell.
Alright, so I'm a little late starting. Began voting from my computer at work. Sorry, but being as I reside in Beamersville(C'ville), I had to vote against LOLUVA. So. sorry, not sorry.

My Final list .... No order Missouri NC A&T NC State Virginia Tech Pitt Notre Dame — Hendon Hooker (@HenBoss2) March 21, 2016
Thinking its between NC State and VT.. he visited ND recently and news broke out shortly after that it was a very "regular" trip.

More an issue of opposing OCs and WR coaches learning how to properly coach their players to play against inside leverage, IMO. Move, countermove.
