An all ACC Final Four would be amazing.
VT always has and always will own ACC Fishing.
But let us know so we can call Daryl Dixon first.
Yep, best ACC fishing ever, Pitt has hit 3rd prior to joining the ACC as did syracuse when they fielded a team, but in the ACC Blacksburg runs wrestling!
Also should you need to run through a wall anytime soon, use this speech from Ty walz to get hyped:
For me, it's College Football, MLB, then NFL. But, definitely concur that Basketball is mostly filler.
Buzzketball could change things and overtake NFL, but would never overtake my passion for the Nationals.
that's Mike Zadick--an amazing coaching addition to our wrestling team..
The Hokies fourth place finish at this year's championship is the best finish of an ACC team in the conference's history, topping a fifth place finished by UNC in 1982.
Whether you follow wrestling or not, this is a pretty amazing feat!

That would be mike zadick, here were his boots this weekend:
Forget all this wrestling crap. Let's stop and take some time to appreciate the boots on @VT_Wrestling Mike Zadick. pic.twitter.com/BGHKihpoYt— AWP (@wrestlingpress) March 19, 2016
Next year an individual national champion is very achievable. Lots to shake out this summer:
If Snyder wins olympic gold, i think its hard for him to come back to HWT. In that case Walz has to be the odds on favorite to win HWT. Nevills and Chakonis come back, but i thill have to think walz will be the favorite.
Epperly has the skill to win 174, and that weight class may actually open up, as i've heard Nickal and martin may both move to 184. Will need to see how lineups shift.
Zavatsky has beat pretty much everyone at 184 except Boyd i think. Not sure how weight class changes will effect 184, but he has the talent to do it. Stringing 5 wins together though is different than talent.
And for all the dissapointment, Joey Dance still has the top end talent to win 125. No idea if he'll need a long rehab and will redshirt or not, but the last two years, he's beat the eventual national champion in the regular season.
No idea how McFadden will grow, but its hard to see him doing anything but improving as he starts to gain some age.
And Chishko may change wieghts too. He could make some noise, but Retherford will be an all time great and i dont see him losing again in his career at 149.
So yes, i see at least 3-4 viable contenders next year. If Snyder is gone, Walz will be a favorite, if not epperly is probably the best shot.
Do you have a link? The above link is just the first round (unless I'm doing something wrong?)
I'm kinda hoping for an all ACC Final Four with Notre Dame, Miami, Duke, and Syracuse haha.
The more important question, who is rocking the killer beard next to dresser? That man has some serious chop game.
Hopefully she'll be the grandmomma of some gifted, talented and thoughtful Hokies in a few years.
You can tell Dresser has some mat time. He has some serious cauliflower ear on the right one.
I think you mean KBJ. Kerry Blackshear, Junior.
Second round is up and we are trailing to UNC. People need to get on the voting and quick.
That might say more about the size of our QB's more than anything else.
No way. Between Bacon and Beasley they at least one is gone. They are both projected in the first round and would be foolish to turn it down.
Thanks Jersey! I had a lot of fun following the team this season and the NCAA run on Friday night was quite remarkable. I think the future is very bright for the Hokies.
I think the next reachable milestone would be to get our first national champion... who do you think has the best shot at that next season? Epperly?
Buzz-by needs new shoes.
So, why exactly did you open and comment on a basketball related thread, if you didn't really care? Did you think we were all just anxiously waiting for you to declare your ambivalence?
Hey everyone, we can relax now. Since Jander75 doesn't care, we all shouldn't care either if one of the best basketball coaches in the country decides to leave our program on the cusp of something special.
VT beat one of the number one seeds in the NCAA tournament.
Just sayin'.
Not arrived, but headed in the right direction.
I came close to going to App...decided on Radford. Wouldn't trade my Raddy experience for anything but I know I would've said the same thing had I gone to App.

Umm, NCSU is pretty good: http://www.basspack.org/
