My deal with Duke is mostly like why I hate the Yankees - they do it consistently because they have always won. And its amplified because it always seems like Coach K whines and then gets the call he wants. At this point I may just be so biased that there's no changing my mind.
As for Duke's team this year I completely agree. Half of my brackets had them losing today. The other half have them losing in the next round. You can't win with that little depth.

I think I'm one of the few people on TKP that doesn't want Duke to lose all the time. That being said I think at best they are a sweet 16 team. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they lost sooner. A 6 man rotation is almost certainly not going to win you a tournament.

Lots of my friends will joke around and make fun of me for being excited about Hokie Hoops being in the NIT, but honestly I couldn't care less. I see on social media how those around the country can tell that we are on the rise. I see how other teams are no longer comfortable playing us. It is great. Everything really seems to be falling into place. I am thrilled that this program is on the rise, I am thrilled by the heart this program plays with, and I am thrilled that we have one hell of a coach. Love this program with all of my heart. Keep playing ball boys!

Punter A.J. Hughes worked out and hit the top of the indoor facility with several punts.

I'm also enjoying the Duke has not pulled away yet. I picked Duke to win, but I always root against them.

By the way, I hope Bronco is reading the papers these days. I'm sure it will compliment his scouting report on us. Meanwhile, the hoos aren't even going to be able to tell each other apart in spring practice due to a lack of numbers. Apparently only 80% have even qualified for practice, not having made it through the Bronco Boot Camp successfully. It sounds like a very different kind of spring in hooville.

Oh their front page (not the front page of the sports section, THE front page) has an article from Jerry Ratcliff about how it's a foregone conclusion that LOLUVA will win a basketball championship, its just a question of if it will be this year or not. It's titled "Not If...When". Talk about a croc! This is precisely why the phrase of the day is:

GO HAMPTON!
