Mark Titus, CBB writer & former OSU player, tweeted at some point that OSU has catered the arena to families and donors at the detriment/expense of students which has created a really poor atmosphere for a school of that size/success/fan base.

If Bristol Motor Speedway can have a suspended jumbotron, I guarantee you an engineering school of VT's caliber could figure out how to put one in Cassell.

But I'm sure a new roof would be the easiest answer.

Wagner and High Point arenas look like my high school gym. I wouldn't have guessed either of those stadiums could hold even a 1000 people.

I didn't even know Wagner was a school before last night. Thanks for knocking off Saint Bonnies! Let's hope we can out-duel the those mid-to-late 20's virgins!

"I never, never should have allowed myself to be lured by the United States administration to commit a crime in this country," he said tearfully as he begged for forgiveness.

"I wish that the United States administration never manipulate people like myself in the future to commit crimes against foreign countries. I entirely beg you, the people and government of the DPRK, for your forgiveness. Please! I made the worst mistake of my life!"

Made him say all that nonsense and still locked his ass up for 15 years. F'ing North Korea man.

I don't think there was ever really a real shot at a team title, you need finalists for that and right now we're only slotted for one and Waltz might if he can upset a world champ, but that is dicey.

Apparently he was crouched for a while and stood up and "...blacked out a little bit" and added that he was a little bit dehydrated. He says he's fine to coach the second half.

Since we'll be seeing the Marriott Center on TV tomorrow night, here's a video of the venue that was done after renovations were completed last summer:

Not looking good at the half for Hampton down 19. The first 4 games games are done with no real upsets. Although, currently Yale is up on Baylor after a half.

2016 Goals for Hokie Fans:
Make Lane and Cassell two of the scariest & toughest places to play in all of college athletics.
Make opposing teams look at the schedule and go "

, we have to go to Blacksburg."

The good news, though, is that we do have 7 guys who advanced to the second round in the championship (winners) bracket. Only Penn State and Nebraska topped that at 8 apiece, and only Oklahoma State tied it.

I'm not sure there ever was a 'realistic' chance to begin with. Barring disaster, this is Penn State's tournament to lose. Epperly's early loss certainly hurts for sure, though. Each win in the championship bracket is worth a full team point, while wins in the consolation bracket are worth a half point, so there's a couple possible points we lose right off the bat.

I think the biggest hindrances to VT's chances are the lack of true championship contenders and the lack of high-scorers. Dance and Walz are our highest seeded wrestlers, and while Dance has a decent shot (his only loss of the year was a fairly close match to the #1 Tomasello), Walz has the misfortune of competing in the same class as NC States Gwizdiowski, who hasn't lost in something like 2 years. As far as bonus points are concerned, our guys don't have a track record of putting up a lot of falls or major decisions, for which they could get bonus points for the team score.

I disagree. Whit is NOT going to let this program go into the dumpster. Period. I think it's safe to say that Whit is a man with a plan, and he knows way more about this entire situation than all of us combined. I believe Whit can make the hires necessary to keep Hokies Basketball's momentum going IF (and this is a big if) Buzz leaves.
