Thanks for posting this. Hokie Pride
I coached with Comey for a few years. He's a knowledgeable guy that loves his Hokie football. Dedicates all week to practice and is still a season ticket holder. He owns his own insurance company and volunteers his time coaching, getting nothing in return. Glad to see him making a quality contribution to this site.
I don't care about anything.....what is said, what is written, what is done- when I see this; I am moved.

# | Justin Fuente and Staff Embark on Series of Coaching Clinics to Build a Brand in Virginia Great job, really appreciate the journalism. You've given the readers on this site something they can't get anywhere else, as I too love the honesty and straightforwardness of the HS coaches; their thoughts on the staff, the philosophy and recruiting.
Very good point. I think the reason it really stuck out for me was that Comey was worried about it.
Has there been any movement on the ACC/SEC changing the high school camp rules for teams in conference? Would like to see the VT coaches able to get closer to those kids in the 757, 804 and NOVA.
My kind of thread!

Well played sir.

I was just glad to hear this from a guy who just sat through our offensive coaches clinic:
"We all know in the Tidewater area and the state of Virginia that Virginia Tech has always played defense, so to know that they've got an offense of this magnitude, it's gonna play a big part in the recruiting
That only makes this mysterious offense more tantalizing than
I am pretty suprised by that. I think he has a good shot, i remember him having a great tourney last year so hoping for a similar performance. Was thinking 133 would need a good showing and didn't realize that Mcfadden was going to be such a low seeding given he is ranked.

"Gee Bryan, we were gonna pay you a real coaches salary, then my secretary dug up this old archived blog she came across and now I just don't feel like you're worth the money."

I thought we were taking a break from bashing Berman?
Look Krak_t. Bloe is just below!
This is dangerously close to two jokes already made, but here goes:
Coach Fuente offered 2017 WR Malcolm Bloe in an attempt to appeal to recruits already committed to Miami. As he put it "We can offer everything Miami can, and more, without the NCAA investigations"
I prefer cake.

Tonight Brian at VT with the Food Science and Fermentation Dept ( yeah, I know that's not right but, to me, it's really the VT Dept of Fermentation), had a guest lecturer in for the fermentation class and invited some brewery professionals in to hear it and then socialize.
It was a great thing. Looking forward to more of this.
I met some good people today in the class that are prospective commercial brewers. Welcome to the industry. Properly trained entrants to the local brewing staffs will really enhance the productivity of the breweries much more quickly.
Some bright and energetic people there.
If we met today, drop a note here.
I was the guy in the long hair, red shirt and hat that said, " Beer is Love" on the side.
