I'm late to the party and, as usual, the blow is nowhere to be found.
Wow. This is pretty much like the rest of College Football ratifying the purpose of the FireBryanStinespring blog. That's gotta sting.
I think he'll bounce back, but he most likely won't ever see the kind of money he was making at VT again unless he can get himself a HC gig somewhere and start building success on his own merits.
Haha thanks, yea it was an impulse buy 11 seconds before the end but after thinking about it more...I really really want it haha
To be fair, I have first hand knowledge of it. My dad was personnel director at VT for 27 years...and I got squat!
I haven't heard back either. I wouldn't worry too much.

The trends don't lie.
Any of you fellas or ladies heard back from VT regarding winning your auction? Starting to get nervous about not scoring the AJ helmet I bid on....
(scrolls down to make sure...okay.)
"That's BS!"
Quality-ass stories, much preferable to ass-quality stories. Good stuff, TKP team.
I wouldn't upvote... :(
Too bad Joe got rid of the upvote/downvote totals (for good reason, and an improvement in all ways except this exact scenario), cause that would be interesting to run a little poll.
Spoiler alert: it's pies
Any additional advice from anyone who has been before on parking/ times/ seating/ getting there early/ etc??? I've participated in VA Duals, high school regionals, and whatnot but not sure what to expect at JPJ / ACC Tourney.
I take this as more insulting to us. How dare Sportscenter abuse our colors in such fashion?

Wow, I didn't realize it had closed. Well keep us updated on your next brewing endeavor in the Roanoke area. So many breweries up there that I haven't made it to yet.
He was planning on announcing in a couple of weeks. NC State was thought to be ahead, but they had a QB commit over the weekend. I think ND is where he'll end up. VT might be a little late to the party
Creepy? Don't worry about creepy. I know where VPIhokieME lives.
Wait - that's not a good thing?
Looks like you're right. I must've been thinking of this scholarship program: http://www.givingto.vt.edu/AnnualGiving/employees-spouse-dependent-schol...
I remember talking with one of the building maintenance workers in my dorm one day and he was complaining that the job and pay weren't very good, but he stuck around so his kids could go to college here. I must've just assumed that employees' kids got a free ride, not that there were scholarships available to them. I stand corrected.
In the UM system, located in Baltimore - somehow I'm beginning to wonder if you're like next door to me. I work at UMB. Is that where you are? Not to get all creepy and whatnot, but I'm curious...
That's actually not true. Virginia state schools do not give free tuition to employees children (even if the parent works in that school). They have to pay the same in-state tuition as every one else.

It's time to start believing :D
Great article, I enjoyed reading every word and hearing the groundwork being constructed for VT football.

UMBC actually. I live in Catonsville proper. So just outside the city but surprisingly close. My twitter likely gives it away.
