I think that Shai will be ok. It sounded like he was looking good at the end of the season in practice. M. Williams should probably sit this coming season out. Two injuries to the same knee in 12 months is not good.

I've said it before, but I really question the medical staff after what happened to M. Williams and Shai. Shai had two serious knee injuries in back to back seasons, and Williams injured his knee in Oct of his freshman year. These guys should not have been pushing themselves to be ready for last season. I understand why THEY would want to and I think it is great that they want to play, but the medical staff should have shut them down.

It's a shame he retired before Flomax came out. That was a sponsorship match made in heaven.

I thought Travon is the man to beat for the starting spot coming into this year.

Nah- it's cool but thanks for the offer. Just a running joke between some friends anyway. Besides, I already got a down vote for posting on the topic anyway!

So you want him to lie and say she isn't good looking? J/K!!

Actually, the article makes it very clear that this person is extremely well qualified for the position AND that she handles interacting with people and potentially difficult situations very effectively. Hokie Nation is indeed fortunate to have her on-board! What more is there to say, except, btw did I mention how easy on the eyes she is?

I believe this is only for the ACCN games. The RSN games have been the biggest headache for me as a cord cutter. The only solution I have found that works is to use the Hola VPN plugin in Chrome and watch it using ESPN3 on my computer.

Sounds like Marcus Vick.........what could have been......

+1 for the Office Space reference. Love that movie. Lived a good portion of that during my time in the first internet boom. As an aside, I really hated the electric shock from opening doors. It started making me feel like I was in some lab experiment.

I agree. My gut instinct is to not depend on either of them going forward. If one of the two of them returns and can be a backup, I would consider that a success.

I remember the George Bell situation clearly.

Ceiling is 4-5, 0 is entirely possible as well. Young teams are inconsistent. You never know what might happen. Regardless, this season thus far has exceeded my expectations and Buzz has a good foundation for the future.

Why extend it when we play them every year till our grandkids have grandkids.

Let's hope he can get down to a good playing weight with the workouts. He already had trouble staying at the right weight before the knee injury. I'd hate to see him put all this work in this spring and show back up in the fall above weight.

What about Travon? TMac was grooving at the end of last season. Don't sleep on him.

It's almost like he should be getting up early every morning and running 5am workouts to get in shape. s/

I feel a little bit more optimistic about Shai since they shut him down pretty quick last season when it was apparent he wasn't 100% (he just rushed back too quickly). Marshawn reinjuring the same knee in less than 12 months and having significant weight issues is very troubling. I also think he probably tried to rush himself back last year WAY too quickly, while Shai was borderline. In any case, Juice looks like he's going to have to drop a bunch of weight to be in playing shape from the video this morning.
