From google.
I wonder what it was that Fuente saw in her at TCU that caused him to call her back into the sports world and to come to Blacksburg, her interview with Jon Laser helps answer that question, but I guess well start to see here soon enough as she starts her role.
That's a really big endorsement to have someone you worked with previously call you back into a profession you are no longer a part of.

# | Danielle Bartelstein Stresses "Business as Usual" Start to Hokie Career, Despite Groundbreaking Role I know what the word "uncanny" means, but now I need to know what "canny" means.
so the purported victim gets trauma counseling and is given guidance on how to report the incident and the accused is given top legal counsel.
the complaint is that this is an unbalanced system, that the eligibility of the perpetrator is given greater deference than injuries suffered by the victim.
honestly, the system doesn't appear to be particularly balanced.
Don't use internet anonymity to say shit you wouldn't say in real life. It's very possible this will get linked to her and this will be the comment section. There is not a lot written about her yet and if you google her name, this is one of the first pages to pop up.
I'm a guy. I appreciate attractive females. I think you can put the effort in to appreciate who she is as an asset to the football team, recruitment, and operations and then say that she looks great as well. If people take offense to that approach, I will agree they are too easily offended. We do the same with coaches and players here.

# | Danielle Bartelstein Stresses "Business as Usual" Start to Hokie Career, Despite Groundbreaking Role You are really smarting for an argument about this, eh? No thanks.
Tip of the burg in higher education?
How dare you say she looks great /s
Being told they are attractive? How dare us that we say such things to the opposite sex. Btw she doesn't have to deal with it. It was said casually on a message board, not to her personally.
Ice is coming tonight!
Wow. I never even saw that, now its all I can see.....

# | Danielle Bartelstein Stresses "Business as Usual" Start to Hokie Career, Despite Groundbreaking Role Welcome home . She has excellent qualifications and a great background, and I am confident she will do an excellent job. However , she does look great "rocking" Chicago Maroon.
I'm for free speech and all but could we possibly just delete the comment? It really is kind of embarrassing...

# | Danielle Bartelstein Stresses "Business as Usual" Start to Hokie Career, Despite Groundbreaking Role It's the type of shit women don't want to put up with anymore. That's all I need to know.
Which is what several people did to seven layers for making an innocent comment. Double standard?
The community is both passionate and diverse. While (mostly) everyone here is a Hokie, we all come from varying backgrounds. Please realize everyone is different, and treat all posters with respect. Please don't ever force a moderator to use the phrase, "Jerk Alert", or make someone feel unwelcome.

Good discussion. I enjoyed the debate.
The purpose is to have a Duals National Champion so they would have a rematch if it meant having the two best teams go head to head. The discrepancy is that the Hokies just beat NC state head to head but are still behind them, leading to facing Michigan and not Iowa.
I agree USAFHokie, and if people want to be pc and disagree than so be it, but that doesn't give them the right to take legs away or use sarcasm toward fellow Hokies. A lot of people need to read the community guidelines.
I gather that comments on personal appearance are unappreciated at best, but I just have to ask, anyway. Is Ms. Bartlestein in any way related to Lee Corso? (not suggesting in any way, shape or form, that personal appearance or familial relationships have anything to do with the hire or her ablility to do the job) The resemblance is uncanny.
Appreciate it, and don't sweat it, boss.

RocketHokie13, if you disagree with someone that is one thing, but your sarcasm and rhetoric aren't needed. If you are pc than that's fine, your choice, but your comment seems like a low way to get a point across which is hypocritical if you are trying to correct someone else.

I meant it as the article had zero to do with her appearance, yet that is the only thing you commented on. It was inappropriate for the context it was used in. I have nothing against saying a woman is attractive. Frankly, there are times when it's strongly encouraged (hopefully all you posters with significant others did this yesterday, otherwise so help you).
If that makes me PC that I felt your comment was inappropriate based on the context, so be it.
