It'll be held at Michigan. The National Duals features 8 B1G teams vs. the other 7 conference champs and one wild card. All 8 duals will be hosted by the B1G schools.

Edit: Apparently the Pac12 is sitting out due to scheduling conflicts with their conference tourney, so this year it's 6 conference champs and 2 at-larges.

The purpose appears really to be getting TV exposure and appeasing Big10 coaches. They're trying to create something like the bowl system, (a system that also tries to avoid rematches). If it were really about crowning a duels national champion, the winners from the round of 8 would advance to a quarterfinal, then to a semifinal, then to a final. Or there'd only be one meet, instead of 8.

According to the NWCA, who organizes this event, one of the designed objectives of this event is:
"Try to avoid a rematch of two teams that already competed against each other earlier in
the year" Link

I figured someone would comment on that phrase. What I mean is that they AREN'T Vanderbilt or Kentucky.

Or Tennessee.

because it is a top tier SEC school

Ehhh.....they've been to the SEC Championship twice in the last 10 years (2005 and 2014) and have only won it in 2005. I mean they aren't a Vandy by any stretch of the means but I don't know if they are top-tier. If they were top-tier they should be in that game much more than twice in 10 years.

Sorry I'm bored needed a reason to comment on something. Is it spring ball yet??

It will be interesting to see if Shibest can make a good punt returner out of Strohman. He has shown flashes of potential, but his performance last year left room for improvement.

Like I said. On my motorcycle, added on the weight of the passenger also slamming into my back, I have no problems maintaining grip on handlebars and remaining stable on the bike.

Do not forget, you have additional contact points of feet as well. So, even if your entire weight was behind that .8 G. Which I think it is not, assuming a 300lb person, that's 75 lb per limb.
No sweat.

Not to nitpick or anything but is there a chance we could alter the title to "Josh Morgan Accidentally Injures Self with Firearm"? Sounds better.

It was already promoted by the VT Football Twitter account. The article will have visibility. An excellent read from Alex is starting to get bogged down in a stupid debate over whether or not Internet commenters use their forum to have a smart discussion (like we usually do here on TKP) or whether or not she's attractive, or other dumb stuff like what was posted below.

We'll have to agree to disagree. You wanted proof that there was support for accusers. I provided it. there would be no way to satisfy you on this point.
There is an entire segment of the University administration to support th accuser, none for the accused with the exception of what is provided as part of their contract.

The state will provide whatever legal representation is required to gain a conviction, free of charge to the accuser and facilitated by the support staff at the school.

Now imagine you are a regular student and had the weight of that administration down on you.

The school does not provide defense assistance to the masses.
False accusations stay with you, for a long time. The stakes are really high.

UVA grad is in charge of the math? I don't know either.

In all honesty, I believe it is based off points accrued not necessarily who beat who like football. I have an exceedingly tenuous understanding however.

Ehhhhh, Louisiana isn't exactly a shining model of an education system (no offense to anyone who graduated from one of those universities). It's tough to argue one way or the other as it gets really political and I don't think it's the best discussion to have on this forum.

I meant it as the article had zero to do with her appearance, yet that is the only thing you commented on. It was inappropriate for the context it was used in. I have nothing against saying a woman is attractive. Frankly, there are times when it's strongly encouraged (hopefully all you posters with significant others did this yesterday, otherwise so help you).

If that makes me PC that I felt your comment was inappropriate based on the context, so be it.
