Yeah, a friend of mine who brews at Sam Adams posted the same when I made a similar comment on Facebook.
As a note, AB-Inbev is trying to manipulate the three tier system. They are buying up distributors left and right, making it so that the second tier only sells the third tier their beer. In essence, they are trying to make it impossible for craft brewers to get any shelf space.
Bastards...
LOL... if I solved that question I wouldn't be posting on an internet message board

# | Virginia Tech Vs. Edinboro, Sunday 1 PM, Broadcast on Flowrestling ($$$ subscription) Check your score again...doesn't add up with your predictions
Fuente said tonight they would have someone in next couple of weeks. Apparently this is vacation week for all of the other coaches but Fuente, Bud is in Costa Rica and other new coaches are moving into Blacksburg.
No, no. Condescend. Go for it. There's no football on for a few cold months. :)
Well... most don't.

# | Hokies Jump into 2017, 2018 Recruiting Classes with Hosting Weekend Heavy on Virginia Prospects Agreed.
hahhaha...ZING!
this is a good point...and as far as I'm concerned, not outside the realm of possibility. I'm actually a bit surprised we haven't heard anything yet. With the narrative that Whit/Fuente knew this was coming I would have thought they would have someone lined up already. Perhaps this came as more of a surprise to them than we thought. I'm sure that VT will make a solid hire. I just hope it happens soon.
Horses don't have that problem
It would only make sense to move Burden to DB, if Bud felt he could be a great DB coach and if some ace recruiter was interested like Locksley
I mean, I don't think it's a bad suggestion (question?) at all. I never knew he actually had any history coaching DBs but apparently he does. That's a plus in my book. And it would make sense that a receivers coach may have some insight that would be helpful for coaching up DBs. I wouldn't be surprised or even upset if they moved him to DB coach. I just don't know if it makes sense. VT (thanks to Foster and Gray) has become known for defensive backs and I think the DB coaching position is a particularly attractive position to up-and-comers. I think the interest in the position has set the bar at such a level that it would make more sense for Fuente to pursue DB coaches rather than moving Burden into that role and trying to find another coach to handle the RBs.
Cam might be immature and a sore loser (let's be honest though, how many truly competitive people aren't sore losers?) but I think his heart is in the right place. He wants to have fun playing the game and I think he's genuinely reaching out to children with their best interests in mind. Sure he comes off as arrogant at times (those MVP cleats.....anyone?) but I think he means well.
Personally, I'm glad that the Broncos won because I think it was Peyton's swan song and his last chance to play in the big game. I'm also glad that he tied his little brother's 2-time SB championships. That being said, I don't really have many negative things to say about Cam. I would like to see him get a SB championship or two of his own. How many people would love to see Cam beat the Patriots? I know I would.
It's a penis joke!!!!

# | Virginia Tech Vs. Edinboro, Sunday 1 PM, Broadcast on Flowrestling ($$$ subscription) 125:Joey Dance: He'll have Sean Fausz who's coming off an upset over Tim Lambert of Nebraska, but Joey is a man on a mission this year and I see him picking up a major. 4-0 Hokies.
133: Dennis Gustafson: This is definitely a swing match in the dual where if Dennis comes out and puts up points like he did against Edinboro it'll be very tough for Morris to get back into the match. Morris though can be a hammer on top and slow the match down to a pace where he's going to be dangerous. Give me Gus by decision. 7-0 Hokies.
141: Soloman Chishko: This'll be a litmus test to see just where Chishko is in the country and how high he can possibly get on the podium in March. Kevin Jack is the #3 guy in the country and for good reason he doesn't have those out of no where loses and can put you in plenty of uncomfortable positions. I suspect Devin Carter to be in Chishko's ear all week but I'll take Jack by decision. 7-3 Hokies.
149: Sal Mastriani: This is another swing match where you have two middle of the road wrestlers that are just going to leave everything they have on the mat. Sal should win but he has a tendency to drop some weird matches but I think he takes this one. 10-3 Hokies.
157: Nick Brascetta: I think this is the match where we find out just how healthy Brascetta is and if he has the gas tank to close out some close matches down the stretch after being dinged up. Gantt is going to push the pace the entire 7 minutes but I see Brascetta's counter offense winning him this match. 13-3 Hokies.
165: David McFadden: Max Roshkopf is a giant human being to only be 165 pounds and he's going to want to beat on and wear down McFadden the entire match while getting to his offense. The only way I see David coming out on top is if he brings the offense to Roshkopf but he'll have to create space and capitalize which he hasn't been doing a lot this month. 13-6 Hokies.
174: Zach Epperly: there are only two guys in the country I see Epperly struggling with and Nicky Hall isn't one. I expect Zach to dominate this match and possibly bring in some bonus points. 17-6 Hokies.
184: Zach Zavatsky: Renda has beaten Zach before and while that was in high school coupled with the way Zavatsky is wrestling currently this shouldn't be a close match. 21-6 Hokies.
197: Jared Haught: Jared is wrestling Michael Boykin who has a very similar style to what we've seen from Haught this year except he tends to keep matches with anyone close especially guys close to his level. Expect an exciting yet low scoring possibly one takedown match. 24-6 Hokies.
285: Ty Walz: While I love the way Walz wrestles it's unfortunate because Gwizz does it better. Ty is clearly in the top 3 wrestlers at 285 but Gwizz is head and shoulders better than anyone at the weight, hold for Snyder I want to see more before I make that claim about him, and will dominate this match. 24-10 Hokies
That's how I have the match going down but I can easily see how it could be 19-15 NC State. We have a few people I would consider locks in Dance, Epperly, and Zavatsky but that's why they wrestle the match and not go by the rankings beside the name.

# | Virginia Tech Vs. Edinboro, Sunday 1 PM, Broadcast on Flowrestling ($$$ subscription) I had 9 decisions with Epperly getting a major for us and the team win.
Agree with this. Competitive people go where top talent is to compete with them. To see if you are among the best. People do it in all professions. Military guys go to elite units. Top programmers go to apple. All because that is where the best in their field are.
Joe Jones is a great guy and a good family friend. Very deserving of the opportunity. Ocean Lakes is getting a good one.
That said, Jones also loves all things VT. Doesn't hurt to have a fellow Hokie in the ear of the talent that comes from that school.

# | Virginia Tech Vs. Edinboro, Sunday 1 PM, Broadcast on Flowrestling ($$$ subscription) 18-12 for me but thats a homer prediction. Likely to be 15-15, and a single MD wins the match if i had to guess. PReview is written, but ill hold off for rankings before posting

# | Virginia Tech Vs. Edinboro, Sunday 1 PM, Broadcast on Flowrestling ($$$ subscription) I hope you're right with the 24-10. That would be awesome. The 157 match worries me. I just don't know if Brascetta is healthy enough to hang right now. And I feel like Sal is 50/50 here lately
I don't actually see them doing it. But I was just throwing it out there. I wonder if it crossed there minds.
It sounds like there's plenty of DB coach demand for the position. I heard Chris Vaughn's name thrown around this morning. Hes the Texas DB coach worked with Fuente at Memphis for a few years, been at Ole Miss and Arkansas and a few other stops.
Anyone know anything about Texas defensive scheme? Ive never really paid attention to them.
I totally can attest to this. I teach in the Midlands of SC and our AD/head football coach makes as much as the principal (~$100,000). You throw in the 10 or so assistant football coaches that also make more than most other coaches in any HS sport, and you wonder where it all comes from. The booster club covers some of it, but some high school are not lucky or organized enough to have one. And yes, it does reflect poorly on the state of SC as a whole when money like that is dumped into athletics.
And......3.8 GPA and 1470 SAT.
Impressive addition to the Hokie Nation.

125: Dance is clearly the better wrestler then Fausz IMO MD 4-0 Hokies
133: I'm picking Gustafson here in a close one probably 7-0 Hokies
141: Probably match of the meet #1 Jack is a great wrestler but Chishko has done pretty fantastic recently 7-3 Hokies
149: Mastriani is always a toss up 7-6 Hokies
157: Match of the Meet #2: Brascetta and Gantt, should be a good one I'm going with Brascetta 10-6 Hokies
165: Will McFadden come up big against another quality opponent? 10-9 Hokies
174: Epperley has come back strong since being out of the lineup I think he gets a major decision if not more here 14-9 Hokies
184: Zavatsky has really impressed me recently 17-9 Hokies
197: Haught by decision 20-9 Hokies
HWT: Will be a fun one probably the match I am most looking forward too. I think Gwiz gets a MD. 20-13 Hokies
I think the Hokies are heavily favored at 125 and 174 and NCSU at HWT. 141, 149, 157, and 165 are the big swing matches (ironically in the middle of the match assuming the match starts at 125). I give the slight edge to the Hokies at 184 and 197. I think NCSU will have to win 3 of the 4 swing matches to win not inducing bonus points because that's too difficult to account for. Bonus points will also play a big part in the duel, I think 125 and 174 have high chances of bonus points for the Hokies and HWT has a good chance at bonus points for NCSU.
