Going to be interesting if they don't go private school, see another 757 public school coach get accused of recruiting kids.

Found this about Morgan leaving Oscar Smith.

The Marietta Daily Journal reported that Morgan, who also will teach physical education, will make just over $111,000 in the 2016-17 school year. Football coaches in each South Hampton Roads city are paid a stipend per season on top of their teacher salaries. The stipend is usually about $6,000 to $7,000, depending on the school system.

That is just nuts paying a high school Coach 6 figures.

I love this and I am becoming a bigger and bigger Hilgart fan. I love having a S&C coach that looks like he could be on Game of Thrones and survive 3 or so episodes. Can't wait to see what some of our guys look like against Liberty.

Holmon a second. Are you saying that you're annoyed someone Fuent there earlier and started a pun chain? Sometimes our only Vice to get through a long day at work is to Foster up some amusement and, great Scott! I think that may have been Shibest one yet!

carolina's gotta feel like crap. At least Peyton left his walker on the sideline so as not to rub it in too bad...

Raiding the Duke coaching machine is always a good idea. Ole Miss grad, works the Gulf States (incl. Florida) for Duke. Could be a very good fit.

Great atmosphere in Cassell yesterday and when LeDay, Bibbs and Hudson score, good things have to happen. Great victory Buzz and I loved the wiping down of the official's head. I don't know too many coaches who can pull that off w/o a "T", priceless!

Almost any beer, almost any pizza, pretty much any time works for this Hokie. He didn't win them the Super Bowl, but he didn't lose it either. Give credit where it is due, y'all, and remember, a lot of folks can't afford craft beers and designer California pizzas, and a lot of folks who can, prefer not to. Count me as one who still occasionally enjoys a crisp cold Bud and I love Papa John's pizza. We like Peyton because he doesn't come across as snobby or entitled, makes fun of himself regularly, and seems to enjoy life and has excelled at his profession. Denver's D made Cam look like a piker last night. Peyton managed the game, took advantage of what a good Panther D gave him when he could, and is enjoying that winning feeling this morning. I say pile off ole peanut head and let him.

Taft Coghill's article in the Fredericksburg paper is online

I love the way Garbutt conflates "staying in-state" with playing for VT. He may be a junior in HS, but he already knows there's only one place in Virginia to play FBS football.
