Last three weekends were similar. Its usually two on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. All depends on the time slots for each tournament. Schedule also heavily favors the home team each time.

...and they are another one with UGA #11 and Hokies #12. Tells me they aren't watching, aren't looking at metrics or actual results.

Football used to be an outdoor sport. The thinking used to be that the players should be prepared to play in different temperatures.

All this does is make me irrationally angry that our end zones aren't maroon in real life

D1 Softball is the rankings media teams use when they put the rankings on the scoreboards next to teams

I'll take a win against JMU and one of the sec teams. That will be a successful week imo

Hokies are 11th in NFCA. UGA is 15th.

RPI is not yet active for this season.

This is the best link I have found because it links to most of the rankings.

I believe its USA Softball (ESPN), NFCA Coaches Poll, Diamond and then RPI. I am not sure Softball America is considered because it is media voted. NFCA Coaches Poll carries the most weight in terms of polls but RPI carries the most weight overall for tournament selection.

Quick question if you happen to know... How many polls are officially approved for consideration by the committee? Is it SA, ESPN, and Diamond? Or are there others as well?

...or could be a breakout week. All depends on how they do. Win 2 or all 3 and probably end up ranked.

That said, all I really care about is our pitching doesnt fall apart the final five weeks of the season like the last two years.

Don't you worry, other polls have them below Georgia. Diamond Sports Rankings, which was approved this year to be considered by the selection committee for tournament selection and official rankings has UGA 11th and Hokies 12th.

ESPN/USA Softball doesnt update until today around noon. Last week there, Hokies were 20th and Georgia was 12th.

Imgur sort of hides their file name by generating a url for the share link that is different than the url for the file link. Back in the day, the share link and file link had the same url address, but they changed that awhile ago.

The url to the file link can be revealed by clicking on the image and opening the image in a new tab.

Edit: McHokie beat me to it by 2 mins... But hopefully the explanation was useful.
