I heard that he wants to stay in the NFL and at this point of the season there are really no sexy college openings for him, unless (as said above) Texas just blows it up and goes for him.

I'd say he goes to the Titans and works with his favorite QB and potentially the #1 pick in the NFL draft.

Well rebounding and turning turnovers into points were the two breaking points of this game. As many turnovers as we had (22), we forced WVU to turn the ball over 17 times. The difference was that we got 17 points compared to their 26. We were outrebounded in this game 42-24, allowing them an incredible 18 offensive rebounds. Second chance points went 16-7 in their favor. Thats 18 of the 25 points they beat us by. Scary thing was that personal fouls went 30-30 and we actually outshot them at the free throw line, hitting 25-39 compared to 22-35. Bibbs disappeared in this game, and I do not understand Blackshear getting only 3 minutes of playing time in a game driven by such hard play in the lane. As for everyone else, break the press and get position to rebound. Buzz has to come up with how these guys are going to cleanly break the press or almost every ACC team is going to do the same thing WVU did today.

Ha. I was worried about that when I was reading about Fuente when he was first hired...

But in all honesty, our offense (Loeffler that is) is looking more similar to Auburn than Memphis, at least in this game, I havent watched basically any of their other games except one other Memphis game to know if this is their normal look.

Exactly. With Fuente, Vice, Wiggins, and Shibest missing, you'd have to almost expect this. And, obviously, it's a given that Auburn has more athletic guys than Memphis does. I'm very optimistic, especially with us having Ford, Phillips, McMillian, Rogers, Jerod Evans, and (hopefully) Bucky.

I dont think theres any doubt it has more to do with him as a person than it does with his X's and O's. There are a good number of coaches who have had worse records who havent been on the hot seat.

Its a tough market too; Eagles and Philly fans in general are just terrible people haha (jk im a penguins fan so I absolutely despise the flyers)

From day one it seemed like he was on the hot seat, then he started making personel changes and its almost like he dug his own grave, he basically put a target on his back that said win big or go home.

I think Chip made his bed when he decided to go all in and try to trade up for Mariota. They wouldn't admit it, but I have little doubt that Bradford was meant to be trade bait, and the whole thing backfired. Some really questionable personnel decisions altogether, and I think gutting the team and getting rid of guys like Maclin, Jackson, McCoy, Mathis etc. was just unforgivable in the eyes of management, especially considering how the team has looked most of this year.

Its either more wet than it looks, Lynch is injured or hes having a terrible day, he doesnt look anything close to the Paxton Lynch I watched earlier in the year when Fuente was just a rumor.

JJ and Lawrence Kasdan (who wrote the script for Empire and Jedi), wrote the final screenplay for 7.
Rian Johnson is writing Episode 8, and is at least writing the first script/treatment for Episode 9. Though I think as an executive producer, JJ has some input on 8, and I think Johnson may have been part of some of the work for 7. SO there will be cohesion in some fashion.

Texas just needs to be patient. Given enough time, Strong could resurrect UT as a powerhouse with longevity and sustainable success. It just takes a while to change a lackadaisical, entitled culture to one based on hard work and toughness. Strong could be just the thing Texas needs, but the question is do they have the vision and patience to see it through.

I think I remember reading that he and Cornelson were done deals, but I can't remember the source for Scott so I editted the post away. But I agree compensation will be interesting. Imagine both will get pay raises especially Scott considering he would be taking a demotion.
