My transmission went this weekend, today I found out it is 87 miles under warranty. So I was ready to air grievances but they have been rescinded

But we really have to win this game. I don't really care how it looks or how it happens just think a loss will stick around a lot longer than people think. Down the line it would get re-hashed. And outsiders often see things differently, as far as what a loss / end of the record would "mean."

This times a million!^^^^^

I am just in time to help you out! Jason?

I say play him at the backup Sam Rogers position, because when you're Sam Rogers the defense fits around you.

In all seriousness though I say why not FB? I mean I have no frame of reference for evaluating his strengths, weaknesses, or desires but but he seems like he has the body type for it and that's a position that teams don't really recruit the way they do all the other positions on offense and defense. It seems a common trend for teams to turn a recruit at another position into their FB and to develop him after arriving on campus so I figure why not Clay Dean?

Edit: So to more directly answer your question I'm really not sure I see him fitting into our defense

I would take all of those scenarios, if Fuente finishes the season in the top 10 by year three I would call that a raging success.

I'm definitely looking forward to the spring game weekend more than the bowl game.

Good stuff. We should be up front about our expectations for next year. Even without Bucky (I don't expect him back), it's reasonable for our offense to improve upon 2015. Brewer missed a handful of games and wasn't anything special when he played. Motley was erratic at best. I'm not sure who plays QB next year, but it should be an improvement. RB should be better, whether it is 90% Mac or a split with others. OL should be better. Wrs should be better. Top 60 next year is my expectation, top half of ACC. Bigger jump in year 2 assuming a returning QB.

The Clemson fanbase is instead full of very arrogant, delusional people. If you talked to them you would think they've had at least 10 wins every year for 25 years (they haven't even been close to doing that)

Free game to kill time. Never spent a dime on it or ever will. If you are one of the people who are really into the game I can understand why you don't like the update. It did change the game play. I still suck at it and I don't really care. Gives me something to do while sitting on the porcelain throne.

Delonte West and Jameer Nelson lead St. Joes to a Final Four.

I am emotionally invested because of the rumors of the new jersey and helmet change. I freaking love the jerseys with shoulder stripes we have had the last several years and this could be the last time we wear them. I loathe the thought of what Nike will come out with next after seeing some of the helmets and grey and black jerseys over the years they have used for special occasions, which we seem to mostly lose while wearing.

It's sad I'm learning more about Frank as he steps down than when he was the coach. I hate to admit I was one of the few that wanted Frank to step down sooner rather than later and after reading articles like this (among others) I see the resistance to it. This is truly a great man and fantastic role model he absolutely deserves to be remembered for everything he has done to make Virginia Tech special and one of a kind.

I hope that Frank knows how much he means to all of us.

I truly believe that Frank is far too humble to realize how much he has meant to all of us. That is just how he is - even in his most private conversations with his wife and family, he displays humility. Excellent post, Hammer.
