would be a steal for them...I think the way in which they fired Ruffin has to be a pretty big red flag for prospective coaches. I'm mixed on this. On the one hand I want to see Shane get his shot (and be successful) but on the other hand I want ECU to spiral into the lowest depths of football purgatory for eternity. I hate ECU. I liked Ruff, though, and I feel like he was done wrong and I feel badly for him because of it. But I HATE ECU.
oh well, best of luck to the kid in the future, but i won't lose sleep over this de-commitment. Let Fuente try and get his own guys, and maybe somebody more highly recruited. I like my chances with kids who have multiple D-1 offers, not just 1/us
Yeah it's super early to be speculating on 2017 kids. But he would definitely be a defining factor in that incoming class. We'll see how this next season goes(great hopefully) and then we could see more kids like him wanting in on the Fuente Fun.

It's the caliber of program he should go for - G5, pretty good recent success, geographically somewhat difficult with ACC and SEC around but plenty of talent to try to obtain - but man is that a toxic place right now. Could be one of those that Foster calls a "coach killer."
You are absolutely correct. I just don't have a lot of hope for ol' Juice. It's sad because I think he's a great kid with a good attitude. Just needs to stay off the hoverboards.

Is that typical? For a player to suspect a pulled offer after talking with his head coach? I thought at first it was grades, or some kind of off the field trouble? I just caught that as odd...maybe thats normal?
Oh yeah. He had a big ole chip on his shoulder.
Running-wise he was doing things the others did not seem capable of, but protection-wise he was still behind, he was still having problems with picking up some of his protections late in the season, I would imagine that's why he didnt see more playing time.
