I wonder what London Fletcher is up to nowadays.
There are a few other CBs with first-round grades that aren't injured. If Kendall got healthy and came back with a strong year next year, he'd probably be the top corner in the draft.
I think his best bet is probably to go, but given the market for top end corners in this draft and his injury status, I could very well see him coming back. I think he has a decision to make, and could see good things on both sides.
Here's hoping he's staying, though.
Yeah if this doesn't go well, it might be his last head coaching gig at a P5. USCe was scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Oh come on, if something was definite, you ladies would not have much to yak about! LOL
The power in college football is with the Head coaches. The SEC had all the coaches a few years ago with Saban, Miles, Richt, Meyer, Spurrier, even Petrino and a few others. Only Saban and Miles are still there and it is obvious the SEC has fallen off.
I think the ACC has done a great job of being in line to take over. Fuente is a great hire, Richt and Petrino are now in the ACC, Dabo and Fedora look to be getting things rolling, and Jimbo isnt going anywhere. London was weeded out with a decent replacement, State, Syracuse and Pitt arent in bad spots.
I really believe with Fuente and Foster, we are in a great position to be at the top of the ACC pretty soon, and back on the national stage.

Where do all these "O issues" go all the sudden? hmmm...... No one seems to want to address this. The O breaks down and looks like garbage until they have to score...then all is fine. LOL. Assume no risk on O til you're forced to. Sounds like a bit of a design flaw....Thankfully that's all in the rearview mirror.
I think we need to go ahead and define a TKP scale for #sauces.
#sauce - a little bit of flavor
#hotsauce - starting to get some serious heat
#marinade - the marinade is really soaking into the meat; could be real serious
#roux - straight up Cajun cooking here; very thick and substantiated

Additionally, the notion that academics are as competitive at Charleston Southern, Portland State, etc... as they are at Michigan, Stanford, Virginia Tech, et. al. doesn't seem accurate (to me at least).
Regardless of how important academia is at those schools, their regular season is one game shorter (11 games) with at least one or two of those games being money makers against FBS schools. A full season is still a one semester affair with the championship taking place Jan 9.
Anything Hokie sports related is welcomed here.
If I'm shane beamer I'm staying the hell away from that program. Feel like the team won't be totally behind whoever they bring in. That's gonna be a really hard job to pull through
The playoff committee has put emphasis on wins against teams over .500, not on what the rank of the team was at the time they played them.

But I think there should definitely be a better way to do it without using the slip n' slide material.
I much prefer a good #marinade than #sauces. Let the #marinade soak for a few days and its much better IMO.

# | Fuente Kicks Off Recruiting Effort with Outreach to 2016/2017 Commits and Recruits While VT has done an OK job with recruiting overall, they've done this with highly-rated three star players while whiffing badly on some of the highly-rated players in Virginia. Those players are highly-rated because they're considered "game changers", would have filled positions of need at VT, and some publicly stated they were VT leans. So while VT has been consistent with overall recruiting rankings, they've failed regarding some particular impact players that might have reasonably been expected to enroll at VT.
I think it's more important to have an overall quality to the recruiting class (See VT vs UVa -- UVa sometimes gets good ratings, but they also have some lower-rated three start and even two star players, where VT often has a lot of pretty highly-rated three star players), but getting those impact players also makes a difference.
Just look at the results on the field, as they are affected by recruiting misses in positions of need. The misses on the O-Line and linebackers were eventually reflected on the field.
I think this is what the article is saying, and they're right about it.
