This will be interesting to see playout. It seems like he'll have a few options, OLB at VT, possible DC at Missouri under Odom, Possible HC or DC at Memphis.

Granted, this is not a Larry Coker situation, where CJF just has to show up and win. But compare our roster to what Mendenhall is inheriting at UVA. We aren't in dire straights, especially if Fuente closes strong on this recruiting cycle.
Regarding Malleck, huge loss, no question. But does Fuente's spread utilize a traditional TE like Malleck? Even though Malleck was more reliable in certain situations and as a blocker, I think bringing Bucky back suits Fuente's scheme more.
No way.
College Football is unique in major sports as we get to argue and bitch and moan about rankings and such all year.
I'm already irritated with the playoff structure as I think it destroys a lot of out of season arguments.

Well we'd be sitting pretty if we closed out Alabama State and Northwestern.
I still think we'll learn the most about this team in the St Joes game. Neutral court, about the same talent as Northwetern, hopefully we'll be playing much better basketball by that time and be able to get the win
Thanks for the reply. I can't wait for the meat of this schedule, it's difficult to get a feel for this team when they can win on talent alone.
Tough game coming up with Radford this week. They beat Georgeown this year and Georgetown beat #17 Syracuse today.
