Right in front of the home crowd. That's gotta be embarrassing.
And to make it even more entertaining:
South Carolina did not offer Rich Rodriguez its head coaching job. All signs continue to point toward Will Muschamp.โ JC Shurburtt (@jcshurburtt) December 6, 2015
Then shots were fired:
@FootballScoop Did you even talk to anyone at South Carolina? It's been Muschamp for a few days now.โ JC Shurburtt (@jcshurburtt) December 6, 2015
That's what he said right before half time to the reporter, correct? Ok, I'll give you that. Dbag move. But yelling and berating on the sideline I always thought was kind of a coach thing. And hey, it seemed to work on that last punt from him. Bought extra time on that delayed punt.
Why does everyone want that man!?!?!?

# | Straight Up: ACC Championship Game Combined Passing Yards, Championship Saturday Open Thread I've been thinking the same thing. Does anyone know why those are there?
I'm not a fan of him saying his punter cost them 7 points. The punter doesn't play defense.
1.) Money. Universities and athletic departments like it. More games gets it.
2.) ESPN. More games = more ratings = more money. Refer to point #1.
3.) The SEC. Let's see them get left out of the 4 team playoff one year.
4.) The other conferences. Let's see one of them get left out multiple years.
5.) FCS. There are five rounds of the playoffs at that level. If a team goes through all five rounds, they play 16 games in one season. And those are at the schools that care about grades.
The problem with the BCS wasn't the computers...it was still the human bias. There was too much riding on the polls that could be influenced too much. Because honestly, the coaches poll is garbage, and even the other polls were influenced entirely too much by ESPN. (Either there were ESPN staffers voting, or the voters were getting most of their info from ESPN.) The 2011 lovefest for Alabama/LSU was just too much.
I think it was Cowherd that was talking about a nice balance. The computers can run all the numbers and come up with something, but you still need a human element to balance it out that can take care of the intangibles. (Things like certain players not being available for certain games, etc.) Flip side, the computers can balance out the humans that just want to put all SEC teams in all of the top slots.
I'm probably in the minority but I don't mind. Now if that becomes a reg that's another thing.
Arizona's AD says RichRod was offered South Carolina job and turned it down. Looks like he's staying in AZ.
Great news! @CoachRodAZ did not commit to the offer from S. Carolina. He's an Arizona Wildcat. #BearDownโ Greg Byrne (@Greg_Byrne) December 6, 2015
It's all good. They got this. Belk bowl it is. I'm calling it.
And? I'm talking strictly about what he did during tonight's game.
Can we please please please get rid of these slick surfaces on the sideline. In what world did every stadium decide that it was fun to have slippy slides on the sideline?
Buzz is in the unenviable position of trying to get Pierce back up to speed with the suspension of Hamilton so I imagine that played a role against a lesser opponent tonight. The other aspect was that Buzz treated most of the game with speed, playing more a four guard, Leday set out there since APB tried to use a bigger bodied lineup to hopefully work us down low. One big reason you saw APB called for so many fouls early on.
Didn't much like it either. But, if that decision was not an option that they practice, I have no problem nominating it for bonehead play if the week. But yeah, get over it Dabo. If that punter muffs a snap or something now, it's on Dabo.
Do remember that Syracuse is playing without their head coach, tonight being the first night without him, as he begins a nine game suspension. That's not to take away credit from Radford for a good win of their own.
Yea, and he also did a pretty cool thing to honor Beamer.
Concerned about recruiting. That was the last position to add a proven recruiter.
Also F Dabo, he not only threw his punter under a bus on a national TV interview but tracked him down to berate him on he sideline TWICE!
Come on Clemson pull this out, send VT to the Belk Bowl.
And how do the networks seem to synchronize the commercial breaks so well?
Too much good/meaningful football in the same time slot. My remote batteries are going to die.
Any reason Kerry Blackshear barely played?
Tough game coming up with Radford this week. They beat Georgeown this year and Georgetown beat #17 Syracuse today.

He's a huge upgrade over Cornell though. And I am big Cornell homer.
