he was asked why Cooper didn't get many touches in the 1st half of a game this season (after putting up a great performance in the 2nd half) and he said that he wants to keep the RB's in for a series at a time at least, so they can get in the flow of the game, and then he will stick with a guy if he seems like he's warming up. In this case Dorceus got almost all the 1st half action.
sounded much better to me than the strategy we were employing of rotating players almost every down, and subbing based on formation / play call.

Some things never change, it's all about the timing of the loss. You can survive a loss to an unranked team if it's early in the season, but a late loss (even to a top 10) is disastrous. Or, if you're an SEC team you get a mulligan, apparently.

No doubt, gurley is a beast to, if we could pull that kinda talent outta Georgia we would once again run the coastal. I really think getting better on offense will help us get better talent on d, it goes hand in hand.

Agreed. I'm not sure if Burden is a good coach yet, but he has connections that are valuable. If Dickey stays at Memphis and Wiggins slides over to RB, Burden can coach WR's with the assist of having Wiggins and his WR experience on staff.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression they had 2-3 years worth of amazing recruits but that there isnt really anyone left. Blanding and Brown I were their last recruits I know of. Are there more?
Gona take heat but No way Ford was going to beat out Boyd for top WR. I'm just surprised 1 voter didn't give Boyd the no 1 vote. Ford had great year and maybe should have been second but Boyd had over 20 more receptions in one less game. This when everybody in the building new he was the target over 50% of the attempts. That is the reason for the low YPC. Check his Yd Per catch his FR. And SOph year when Pitt had other targets. He also rushed for 300yds. That's more than any VT RB not named MCmillian. No slight on Ford being 3rd he had an awesome year.
