Agreed, makes sense for him. UGA could open up to him, but I expect they will look at Smart, Patterson, and Freeze if they can't interest Jimbo or Dabo.

Echoing other comments, you definitely need to play to the younger crowd on Twitter. There aren't a lot of older people on Twitter, especially not as frequently as younger people.
For example, I followed every MLB team's Twitter account because I was curious of different marketing strategies and how MLB teams interacted with fans, players, other teams, etc. I found that Virginia Tech flows well with most MLB teams, who appear to be ahead of the curve. There is less interaction with the VT_Football Twitter and MLB teams. However, as far as the use of emojis and hashtags go, VT_Football is on-par with what is going on professionally.

I think Brewer understood that the way we were going to beat UVA was deep throws over the top, and that took standing in the pocket longer.

Very impressed with Fuente's statements in the press conference. His life is a whirlwind right now, so he's still getting his bearings, but I like his demeanor and his broad goals. Especially struck me when he said he was big on mentoring his players and helping them become good people. "It's not just about the next 4 years, it's about the next 40." Solid view.
I was reluctant about Twitter for a long time. Didn't see the point of it, didn't understand the "culture" of it, whatnot. Then it struck me that most media outlets are spreading news via Twitter. It's not (simply) stupid, pointless stuff. There's a lot of it. But just about every question that's been asked on these forums in the last few days has had its answer on Twitter. Everything I knew about the coaching hire, details, media, press conference, etc. was posted on Twitter hours before the questions were being asked. Highly recommend joining, if only to follow accounts that interest you. It's much more fun to engage, of course, but you can get a ton of information in a very compact format on Twitter.

The Hokie Club website just went through a massive redesign within the last 12 months and changed many things to make it more intuitive and up-to-date with modern web design. With regards to doing monthly recurring deductions via online, nothing through VT Giving for monthly donations is done online from my experience. Information must be mailed in because of security reasons. I'd rather know that my personal bank account number is secure in those situations personally.
Can I just say that Whit is absolutely A+
and also I really really like Fuente. I can't wait to see what he can do. I'm really glad he's got a 6 year deal. That's the right way to do it IMO
This shall be remembered as the year that VT hired a more well-known coach than USCw.
