Fucking beautiful sir.
Shane's face gave me the feels in that video.
Confused, when did Timecop ever stick VT with anything? Unless you mean the copious timeouts at his disposal.
I used this to get my father out of a piece of land that he somehow co-signed for himself while inebriated and had been paying taxes on for 20 years and couldn't get out of. Petitioned the local government to pass ownership to the guy who was using it as horse coral, and won.
You mean losses in OT because the offense could only make a FG (or worse and not get any points). The last 3 seasons, we have had 11 total OT periods. We have scored a TD only 3 times, kicked 5 FGs and actually managed not to score at all 3 times (none of which were a result of having to go for a TD to tie). So essentially when our offense starts on the 25 yard line we kick a FG half the time and the chance that we score a TD has been the same as us not scoring at all.
Adverse Possession: "an individual who inhabits and improves an otherwise neglected piece of real estate may claim title to that property after a certain amount of time has passed."
In Virginia, you must meet 4 elements:
'Hostile' Possession - The property is taken without permission from the property owner.
'Actual' Possession - The claimant must physically possess the property in order to claim title.
'Open and Notorious' - Possession of the property must be open and obvious to casual onlookers.
'Exclusive and Continuous' for a Specified Period of Time - The person claiming title must have been the exclusive possessor of the property for 15 years (in Virginia).
Motley played well for a fish out of water. I am still wondering why after Brewer came back, when given the opportunity to sub him in, did Motley not throw. Motley has a hell of an arm and mobility. He had trouble with the blitz at Miami and Pitt, but asserted himself well at Purdue and the NC State game. He was going toe to toe with Deshaun Watson's stats. This would have been a good year to season him for a breakout year next year.
I had the same skepticism thrown my way when I predicted Ford as 1000 yard receiver in the preseason
excuse me for a moment...

I thought that happened just before they lost to W&M?
Do you ship barbecue to fellow TKPers?

I managed this just using Paint:

It must be a sign!
*knock on wood* God, we really need a break from the injury bug...
Perhaps I should have had some instead of many. Point being he's going to be special and I'd like to be along for the ride.
Granted I only played in HS, but I have coached the position before and am now as well, but WR IMO is a position that it is not overly affected by coaching change over so long as the coaching is all "good". Each coach will have their little tricks on how to get off the ball, shed the db, timing, etc that will all go into the repertoire for Ford and Cam. Granted some consistency would be better but I don't think it will affect them as much as it does say the OL.
I'm not saying we should definitely make Fuente keep Loeffler, I'm saying if I were Fuente I would at least consider keeping him on staff somewhere, unless he plans on bringing over a boatload of recruits who are as talented as Lawson. I didn't mean to imply he should feel pressure to keep Loeffler or anything because to your point, that would be a form of micro-managing and a brand new HC should feel free to pick his staff as he sees fit. In an article I read today, (might have been on here or hokiesports, can't remember) Fuente went out and hired seasoned coaches he knew had experience at the collegiate level when he got the Memphis gig. I think he's a reasonable guy who knows leans on the advice of others, which is why I could see Loeffler staying on staff outside of OC. Just something to think about.
asked a friend from UVA who he thought was gonna be their next head coach and he actually believed les miles and dan mullen would come. I just stopped him there
If he felt the drop off was significant enough to impact the game then why would he play a 3rd WR, especially when Ford and Cam can play all game? You put the best people on the field at all times. Ford is nearly our first 1000 yard receiver ever, in this year's offense. So from that perspective, a great decision.
especially since there's a guy with the last name Lawson projected to be the starter, who was recruited by Loeffler, and whom many have deemed the next Cam Newton
Holy hyperbole, I severely hope no one has actually called Lawson the next Cam Newton with a straight face. That's even more absurd than the lingering Logan Thomas to Cam Newton comparisons and that's saying something. Sure Lawson has potential but he wasn't even a top 10 quarterback recruit and hasn't shown anything close to Cam Newton so far or you can damn sure bet he would've been under center full time for the Hokies this season.
Their oline play has also been solid on run plays. They can really open up some running lanes for these star backs. I haven't watched much of UGA this year, but their olines tend to be massive and extremely physical.
Look at how many Starbucks/Chipotle/Steam purchases you make in a year and tell me you don't have $100 for the Hokie Club.
**From a grad student who routinely purchases all of those things and then wonders why he has no money.
Yeah Lawson is trying to recruits WRs to tech, I dont know for sure but he seems pretty pumped for fuente

I've been looking for general articles on his philosophy to no avail. I have found a few articles on specific formations and plays.
