But the program is built, and we need someone to elevate us to another level. I don't know if Fuente fits that bill as much as Herman. What he has done at Houston, not just from a W/L perspective but in recruiting as well, is pretty incredible. He has that offense absolutely humming, as evidence by today's game. I feel like our offensive personnel would match perfectly with what he wants to do.

All of me hopes that. Those fans have more money than sense.
Part of me hopes LSU goes the Tennessee route, and regrets this for the next decade.

If you can win at Miss St, you can win at UVA. Not many barriers to win at UVA. They've got money, location, facilities and a strong brand recognition. It should be anticipated that no matter who UVA pucks, they will improve.
I just tried some KCCO Gold Lager for the 1st time yesterday. I enjoyed the slight honey flavor. I liked it much better than the Black Lager. I still need to try the White Wheat and the Amber Ale.

Miles indicated to members of the Gridiron Club on Friday that Saturday's matchup between LSU and Texas A&M would be his final game as the Tigers' head coach, sources at the meeting told Tiger Rag.
The coach appeared in good spirits, sources said, reiterating messages that he'd "always be a Tiger" and "thanks for a great 11 years," but informed the booster club's members, in an indirect but clear manner, that Friday's meeting would be his last with them, even explicitly saying he would not be coaching LSU's bowl game.
Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman announced yesterday Miles would be "let go as the coach of LSU" on Sunday or Monday. That would appear to open the door for former LSU offensive coordinator and current Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher to return to Baton Rouge as Miles' replacement, a scenario Football Scoop's Scott Roussel considers to be LSU's primary plan.
Miles has posted a 110-32 record at LSU, and his .775 winning percentage is the best among LSU coaches with a minimum of 25 games coached. He won two SEC championships, three SEC West titles, and the 2007 BCS National Championship, with a runner-up finish in 2011.
Miles's contract with LSU runs through 2019, and if he is in fact fired, LSU will owe him a $15 million buyout.

I don't think you blame the weed. Plenty of people are able to smoke pot and still manage to have happy and productive lives. It's the choices he made, the folks he hung out with, and the general idiocy of youth that did him in. I believe in second chances, and in his case he's on his second hand's worth of fingers of chances, but still, I hope he pulls it together and grows up. There is/was talent there.

So many openings already and so many potential openings after Saturday, coaches will be in the drivers seats in contract negotiations. Thus, good luck getting a school-friendly contract with a buyout.
The dominoes that could start falling when LSU fires Les Miles could send this whole thing on it's head though. I'm cool with being out of the coach searching business when that happens.

I'm sort of impressed with how well this has played out regarding Beamer. His announcement and last year celebration has been pretty well done.
