I am not sure any amount of payoffs could help the browns...
It's almost like you have to have him as a Co-OC with someone who can get him to pair down the playbook or help bridge the gap. I agree that he's not a dummy at all, but there is something seriously missing. Maybe he should jump to the pros where they have the time and focus to be able to learn his playbook.
A little bit too old school for me, but what do I know? I certainly wouldn't buy one.
it's sad when our fans celebrate first downs the way we do
I'll continue to celebrate first downs until the day I die. Every chance to cheer and yell H-O-K-I-E-S HOKIES!
THIS IS AN INVENTION OF THE DEVIL.

Honestly I thought Herman was our sleeper too, especially since Houston's raise came on the same day ESPN began reporting that VT had already likely found their coach. But the leaks that have came out the last 2 days have been from very reputable sources combined with the Herman interview at SC news makes me think he is unlikely. Personally I like both of them, but Fuente seems the better cultural fit.
... or you can take the horse pill, and see how far down this rabbit hole goes.

They put 40 on Oklahoma
When I divided out the numbers listed above, it seemed to be more like $268 per student, but I don't have a source on the actual figure.
Still didn't seem unreasonable.
Houston
TCU
Michigan - I hate them both!
Miss State
ND
FSU
Boomer Sooner
Doesn't look likely man.
that's exactly why I'm still on that train. Whit advised the fans not to believe anything they read. Well, all we're reading about is Fuente at the moment. All we've read about Herman is that he's not likely to be the next coach at VT and with Houston ready to pony up nobody thinks he's leaving anyway. Read between the lines and he could be a lock for the VT job. I guess we'll find out soon. I wouldn't mind being wrong. I think that Herman is going to turn out to be a rockstar coach and will be wildly successful. I'm going to follow his career regardless of whether he comes to VT or not. That being said, if he's not the next Head Hokie, I have faith that Whit will hire a guy who is fit for the job. I think we'll be in good hands no matter what.
Oh, I thought that was "F*** Rich Rodriguez"
To put in perspective, VT currently charges about 150 per year, UVA is at 650
Jon Gruden. It's a done deal.

"I'm not even sure it exists. It's kind of like the Loch Ness monster or big foot. Sure, people talk about seeing it, but I've never seen it personally. Neither have any of my players or staff" - Mike London, on the Commonwealth Cup
All things being equal, I would rather poach a HC from the SEC than Conf USA. The American Athletic Conference of America. (Edited because you never piss off a beaver or a Hokie)
So for me... Mullen > Fuente.
I wont be mad, I just wont be excited.
Amos Alonzo Stagg
Doesn't look likely man. And losing Jackson would certainly be a concern for 2017 unless we get a JUCO transfer (Park maybe) or immediately sign another QB for this cycle
Very nice research - well done! Echoing HistoryHokie - still reading
No Dan Mullen Data?
Then let's leave junk like this off the forums. Could easily just be a disgruntled person looking to slander his former coach.
I went to class with Frank Beamer. Does that qualify me?
At some point, UVA will beat us in football again. But for all that is good and holy, let it not be this saturday!!!

Could also be smoke and mirrors. I wouldn't put it past Whit
