As for past failures, we'll definitely whiff on some of these kids, but I guess I'm optimistic that these kids are being recruited under our new efforts and that will show. Either way I'm just glad we're at the top for these kids, because the '16 class never had a shot

We will end up with a few four stars. Jovani Haskins almost for sure. OL Merrit, Dickerson and Valentin are all in good spots. Dickerson will be the make or break for me personally.
It isn't a flashy class by the numbers, but we brought in a haul of much needed receivers and should continue to stock up on OL. Theres still a long way till signing day

I would say it's a little early to start being concerned. Official visits often occur during the season for the big recruits and we're only on Week 3.

You can never have too many TEs
To be fair, many VT greats came in as 3*s or even less. I wouldn't start worrying just yet.

I say we use this system to rate recruits that come to VT over UVA.
Clemson -6.5 at Louisville
Northwestern at Duke -3.5
Georgia Tech -2.5 at Notre Dame
Stanford at USC -10.5
Ole Miss at Alabama -6.5
BYU at UCLA -16.5
So are we going to trot out some 4 TE looks now??
