We played William and Mary last year, so using Furman is fair.
Not sure if it was the play calling or Furman's pass coverage being absolutely horrible, but Motley has a decent arm on. Hit's the throws he needs to hit. Wasn't impressed with his throwing into coverage, but seemed like a smart plan around him. Lawson looked a prospect. Expect a similar split against Purdue. Want to see Motley against a non #1 team in the nation defense. Still Power 5 in Purdue...albeit Purdue...but I don't think either OSU or Furman was a barometer of what to expect out of Motley this season.
Consider it thrown. What about Furman though?
SLC has a bit of a drug problem. Not El Paso or ABQ levels, but significant and growing.
It was a weird play, but immediately a Gif favorite. This is the team that was gif'd twice for blocking their own players.
Liked what I saw. I think his carries will increase these next couple of games.

We didn't play an FCS team last year, did we? If we didn't, it's clear you should throw the Ferrum game out. Apples/oranges.
I think he and Edmunds should get the bulk of the carries. That's subject to change after next week.
I think we can go ahead and give Tyrod the MVP award.

Motley vs Lawson will be one hell of a spring camp battle, with Motley having starter experience and Lawson (hopefully) seeing significant game snaps this year.
I think Shane should start TM and only play JCC to spell him every 3rd series or so. But that will never happen.... Instead we'll continue to see RB by committee. 4 RBs each drive, every game. #shanebeamerthings
