So happy he finally gets to start in the NFL. Awesome guy and would love to keep rooting for him on Sundays.
Damnit taking a knee cost Tyrod .30 fantasy points!
I was reading rumors about this a few hours ago. Apparently the party that these two we're at was shot up by gang bangers...
Leg up, Horse. That was a really clever cartoon. Thanks.
Don't forget to remove Defensive/ST scores from your calculations. Looks like you included yesterday's pick-6 in the 2015 calculation above.
But overall I like the idea. I agree with above posters that we should also track so other stuff:
- 3rd down efficiency
- Redzone efficiency
- Yards/Play
- Plays/game (or minute?)
- Sacks given up
- Turnovers
- % of plays we run
- % of plays we pass
Edit: sounds like I need to read better
Looks like T-Mobile will get his first career W as a starter. I couldn't be happier for the man.
And against a playoff team no less!
Tyrod will begin his career at Buffalo with an impressive win
Wow.
Things that make you say "What the f**k"?!"
OT: Speaking of mullets. Did anyone else notice that CFB had his dyed yesterday?
Nothing we can do there, conference says we can't play every year. ;)
Bruce Smith was a Bill. New Tech pipeline?
Fact!
The two corners opposite fuller are getting worked. I haven't seen fuller thrown at yet
We're not Bills fans. We're Tyrod fans. ;)
Agreed, it's way too early to know what we have this season. But I think comparative trends will begin to emerge well before the end of the season. That's one reason I thought this weekly comparison would be fun to do, because we can benchmark against where we were at the exact same point last season instead of drawing broad, sweeping comparisons come December.
Also., if we see offensive improvement with our backup QB, I would see that as arguing in favor of Lefty's scheme as opposed to one player making the offense go, a la Tyrod circa 2009-2010.
I'm in upstate New York and can't get the Bills on TV. Apparently a team called the "Jets" is more popular. Why would you carry both of those games on CBS?
This is worth going to see if solely for the cartoon drawing of the Notre Dame victory with the flopped over LOLUVA student in the background

The thing about TOP is, I think it's an increasingly meaningless stat. When every team ran every down, you could draw strong conclusions from TOP. With so many pass-first offenses, the stat had lost significant value.
Yards and plays per drive, I'm a straight up idiot for not including those. Will do moving forward.
Actual Bills fans to Hokie fans (I will be on this)
Yknow you're right. The mental hit from a loss like that has to be devastating, more so than getting blown out.
I know it was only against Furman, but as was said repeatedly during the spring, I'll take making excuses for why our offense is doing well over the alternative any day of the week.
Rolling on the floor
For sure. Motley didn't just do okay managing the game and not screwing up, he made some impressive big-boy throws. Now the next step is doing that consistently and under pressure, but I like where he is right now.

YES!!
