History Hokie does ESPN do score corrections? If so when is the deadline for that? A Jets D/ST fumble force and recovery is not listed yet on the score for me.

Ultimately it doesn't matter, unless ND counts as an ACC loss for UVA.

When it comes down to ranking and other considerations, noone is going to fault us for losing to OSU.

^^^^^^ This is what needs to happen. Durkin Dozer filling running lanes and putting the backs on their asses...heady former QB QBing the defense...experience and knowledge of passing concepts and routes...Durkin at MLB would make this D legit next year...can he pick it up fast enough to be great this year tho? I doubt it, just because Foster's scheme is so complicated.

I like what I see out of Lefty. His play calling has been good. We get guys open. We got some run game.
the biggest setback was having to go to backup QB. We outscored OSU until Q3.

I can see and understand what he is doing. I think he's a keeper.

One thing that I expect to even out a bit is 3rd down conversions. We converted an insane amount of 3rd downs last year against OSU (something like 60%, which means the OSU conversion % improved relative to what we did against W&M - Bizarro World!) but then for the year we were at 38% (also 32% in 2013 and 38% in 2012). The best teams in the country last year were just north of 50%, so if we can increase our conversions a bit from where we currently are, I'll feel better. From 2012-2014, 3rd down meant a punt about 2/3 times, which is just awful.

I don't think they would have gotten as much practice to Motley as you've got to pretty much go all in to beat OSU.
knowing that after that you've got a couple teams to use as real time scrimmages.

You pretty much need all your best guys to beat OSU. As far as a backup plan for playing against an out of conference game like that is, once you can't win, don't destroy your team losing.
