Elliott didn't seem to be near as dynamic as Duke Johnson. Seemed to be more of a big back not a burner.
On the 80 yarder, I didn't find Frye missing him persuasive (admittedly I know little about football) as it looked like we had a blitz on, with AM filling Frye's gap, then Frye having to try and plug AM's gap. Waiting to hit the right gaps in a coordinated fashion, along with some holding seemed to seal our fate on that play.

# | Ohio State Exploits Personnel Changes and Matchups Against the Hokies I was very disappointed in Motuapuaka. I saw the writing on the wall against Miami last year, as he was responsible for probably the majority of Miami's rushing yards. However, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, his issues were fixable and I was hoping he would improve, but it would certainly seem he hasn't after the opener. The lack of depth at Mike is a little confusing as well, given our defensive success over such a long period of time.
I am also a fan of getting more reps to Adonis Alexander. I think he is a future starter with a bright future and Frye is more of a placeholder until he is ready.
Putting up 40+ 3 weeks in a row would sure be a nice remedy.
so glad to see we have completely skipped over supporting the#1 and #2 qb and gone straight to the #3 qb..

In all honesty, this upcoming game might be the most entertaining one of the year in that we finally get to see the other talent in action that Loeffler has recruited.
I understand your opinion and I agree that, even as underdogs, we have not always preformed when we needed to. I will still stand by my opinion, though.

My final thoughts on this game. We scored three more points against them this year than they scored against us last year and they beat us by only four points more this year than we beat them by last year. It doesn't seem so lopsided when I think of it like that.
I completely agree with this. My comment was based off of history, not the mentality of our players. Up vote for you.
the best part about these mistakes is they're correctable.. we really have a young defense when it comes to key roles for Bud's D..
Very worried with Moto.. don't really see him working out much longer.. The fact that he struggled vs Pitt Miami and now OSU there is plenty of tape around for teams to key in and attack him.
Furman played a tough Coastal Carolina who is moving into Sun Belt this year so this game is not a gimme but I expect the Defense to come out with an attitude of wanting to be perfect.
I agree. Someone get a truckload of fire wood to this kid, stat!

We might actually need this opportunity. Is this a problem or is it something that might make us better? Three games to raise everybody's level and find some new leaders.
If the surgery goes perfect and in 6 weeks brewer is good to go. Do we jump him back up to #1 if we have a clear qb decided by then?
