My God, if we lost to the Hoos... I might actually consider learning how to "hack" websites and shut down the Sabre. ...the smugness of those bastards with a 11 year losing streak is already sickening enough. I know, I know... I could just not go on the site at all, but I like to get an insider's perspective on their program. I browse a lot of team's websites.

It won't make the ACL "more" healed, but it would give Shai more time to improve his conditioning. Better conditioning can reduce the chances of an ACL tear. He missed a lot of time due to his suspension. We're talking about a guy who is coming off his 2nd ACL tear.

I know you guys don't want to acknowledge other schools

But who really does when it comes to loudness? Everyone says that they have the loudest stadium. We may not be the loudest out there *ducks* but we do take pride in being a VERY tough environment for opposing teams. And sometimes it's not just the volume, it's the timing of the volume. VT fans are known for being very football savvy and knowing when to be loud to disrupt the opposing team. Not saying other fans aren't, but that's part of our reputation. And honestly, if this game is down to the wire it will be insanely loud and crazy.

And I will be there, Season ticket holder since 2001, and went to many games as a student '96-'99 (came back for as many as I could in '00).

Yep, you're cynical.

And we have absolutely no tolerance for that kind of attitude this close to Game Day! Damn it man, pull out your O&M glasses, take a big swig of the Kool-Aide and jump aboard the Hype-Train for goodness sake! We are less than a week away from playing the number 1 team in the nation at LANE STADIUM and we demand nothing but pure positive feelings, absolutely NO NEGATIVE VIBES within a 300 mile radius of Blacksburg is allowed!

Got it?

I feel better now...(where'd I put my meds?)

Not going, wish I could. Just saying I doubt it will be much worse than that game. PSU at night in a big game is insane.

I know you guys don't want to acknowledge other schools but they are loud and have 100,000 plus. Main reason the game was so close last year.

And as I said, I expect a similar enviroment.

My attitude toward this game last year was that OSU was far more talented than we were and that we would lose by a margin that was significantly lower than the line.

I'm taking the same attitude this year. For a bit, I've been seduced by the possibility that we'll win again. But as the game grows closer, I find myself feeling an expectation of winning. I gotta stop this.

Maybe I'm getting a little....entitled?

The Penn State game last year was the most insane atmoshphere I've ever witnessed. Urban said it was the loudest place he's ever been.

Ya'll have obviously never been to a big night game at Lane. I hope that you're coming to this game, it'll be something awesome to experience. Especially if (as I fully expect) this is a close game into the fourth.

I want to see Lefty take shots on 1st down with some deep balls to Ford and/or Bucky early in the game. Give Brewer the chance to 5-step drop and get the ball out on one-read plays to take some pressure off our o-line. I can also see Travon being in the jet-sweep type role that Newsome had last year.

On D, I cannot wait to watch our front seven. Braxton Miller over the middle? hehe

Beamer stated that QB Michael Brewer was "more beat up in the Virginia game than anybody let on." He remarked that he had "no idea" how Brewer stayed in and finished the game.

No kidding here, I remember a time after a hit when he was going back to the huddle stumbling like he was drunk. I thought for sure he was going to fall down just trying to get to the huddle. But he stayed in there, dude is tough.

The Penn State game last year was the most insane atmoshphere I've ever witnessed. Urban said it was the loudest place he's ever been. And he's taking top Florida teams to LSU at night.

Hope it helps prepare the Bucks because I expect it to be similar.
