It "worked" because Bud Foster is a golden god and it's colored our memories of how the offense actually played that night.
ON IF HE'S CONFIDENT THE OFFENSIVE LINE CAN OPEN UP HOLES FOR THE RUNNING GAME:
"Yeah, I hope so...
Me too, Shane. Me too. Geez.
As a descendant of cattle farmers on both sides of my family, I say cow. As a beard, I say cow.
UNC would be number 1.5 for me.
I have no respect for them.
Really.
Forrealz? It's too uncanny.

# | Virginia Tech OC Scot Loeffler lauds Ohio State's Talent, but DT Corey Marshall is confident as ever I'm going with the same mentality as last year.
I don't want to get blown out.
What you did there. I see it.
Not in this current thread - but indeed the were sick AF.
How about evening it up a bit? Compare 07 nickel D vs 15 nickel D. Compare 07 4-3 vs 15 4-3? It's not fair to compare a 4-3 to a nickel D, especially since Foster was and is still our D coordinator - he'd use whomever he needed to for us to win the game, and he indeed use nickel D for us back then to, but just not as much.
But....isn't that what the internet is for?

Bobby Bowden played at Samford and later coached there. Terry Bowden then coached there. Jimbo Fisher played at Samford.
This is a great topic. I'd put Duke lower. I don't like losing to Duke but they've always been the lovable losers in my mind.
I'd put GT, Pitt, and UNC higher. They're top four in my mind with LOLUVA.

Hopefully not this "Smoke"

personally don't think he'll be #1 any time soon. I think he's not redshirting b/c it's been said he's going to transfer if he does.
The answer to that question is yes, you damn well can
We normally have a wake-up call around 11 o'clock....
Geez, I miss college.
God I can't take it any longer. I'm 3/4 dipped at this point.

I love Harbaugh, but he acts like a guy who played behind a really bad OL much of his career. Which he did.
anyone think the reason he isn't redshirting is because he is the clear #1 and will be after Furman?
also while i realize Shane is the RB coach there is no way a position coach makes this decision independent of both the OC and the HC.
Tyrod asked him at the end of the play if he was out and Harbaugh told him that he wasn't. I'm sure a lot of coaches would freak out if a play happened that close to the sideline right in front of them.
Seems like a lot of irrational hate for never having met the guy.
If the backfield is the main point here, then I'll just say, do you take a back who can clearly contribute, and who might well crack the two-deep depending on how JCC and Trey start out the year? If, God forbid, JCC's brilliance down the stretch last year was a flash in the pan, we'll need able bodies behind him ready to step up. Between Shai and McMillian, Shai is the one who has been there. You'd want that experience available if one of the top two backs goes down or hits a slump.

depends on what you consider high I guess.
