It really gets me whenever anyone refers to our alma mater as anything short of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. It is so utterly offensive to hear people rudely shorten it to "VPI" or "VT" or, God help me, "Virginia Tech." Come on people, you wouldn't call your country a c*nt, right? Don't get me started on people who refer to our country as "The United States" instead of it's rightful name "The United States of America".

Why do people care about the Washington Redskins' name but not the Tomahawk Chop? Probably because they know FSU will be back to being mediocre in a few years and it's not worth the trouble

I realize this from most other sites. I always enjoy what other people say about the Hokies but trying to get any real meaning or depth, except for a few who actually study college football...phil steele, is impossible when you frequent TKP. I usually read those articles and see how much more I already know about the program and the practices than them. But do enjoy hearing other people have good hopes for VT.
Kudos to you TKP staff for the great work and dedication.
