That was Wades on north main where the Y is now, and there was another wades on south main. And Kmart was where the vt surplus and print shop are now. And yes, Kroger on south main was a Harris Teeter

Dope. Thanks Joe. I'll be there and will bring canon fodder.

You all make me feel old, I remember when Macado's was in the same building as "Getto" Kroger, the Math Emporium was a Roses, and Harris Teeter/Gucci Kroger was Gables Pharmacy..

Alex, when you reference Trey, is it really an ankle injury or is his ankle just sore or is that just hobbit is being reported?

Thanks for all the great work TKP team!

I can understand that with Cassel, but Manuel just isn't a good NFL QB. He wasn't anywhere to the level Tyrod was in college and it's starting to look like he isn't as good as him in the NFL as well. It's probably going to come down to Cassel and Tyrod.

It's only been three years since I did all of my grocery shopping at that kroger and don't remember it being ghetto. Although, I do not care for the sealed concrete floors Kroger seems to be going with. I've been in several recently renovated Krogers and they all are doing this. It just looks bad on an existing floor, especially since they don't do a whole lot of floor prep and you can still see where the old tiles were.

Matt Cassel has kinda been skating by on that one year he took over for injured Brady. Besides 2010, every other year of his has ranged from meh to eww.

It's always been Kroger to me (2014 grad), but some posts below also say it was a Harris Teeter back when they were in school. I never really considered the layout until someone pointed it out, but thinking back it did kinda just seem different from the four other Krogers I've shopped at.

You didn't and don't worry about it. There will be a tailgate before the Ohio State game and the details will be released in a couple of weeks.

When was it a HT? Had to be before 2001 if true.

FWIW, I've seen plenty of Kroger stores with that same layout that have always been Kroger.

To add some context, it seems as if the Hokies are using an abundance of caution in this first scrimmage. Trey Edmunds is another guy being held out today and he couldn't seem less worried about his ankle injury. Same goes for Seth Dooley, who said he'll be just taking "mental reps" today.

So this is still cause for concern, but the sky isn't falling just yet.
