Team has a lot of play-makers assuming they are healthy.
Beams is well loved for good reason.. anyone notice how much different his voice is since surgery? sounds night and day to me. Clearly he was under more more health stress than VT led on, he has aged 10 years since the bowl game IMO. Wish him and squad much success in his twilight years and hope he can go out on an up note.
Damn you for getting my hopes up, is it September yet?

I wasn't going to be that guy, but I'll jump on. Yeah, sorry but the city sucks. (At least it gave us "It's Always Sunny".)

Any second offense is automatically a Class VI offense. So it didn't have to necessarily be grievous if he was foolish enough to do it twice.
I will come back this summer for my own beer festival.

Reavis not enrolled at VT, appealing student conduct decision Foster's defense relies so much on a free hitter being able to make plays in space and fill his gap correctly. Remember the BC game in 13? The final TD was because of a poor fill. CJ did an outstanding job throughout most of the spring in coming up and making plays, and I'm not 100% convinced we have another rover who can do that as well. One miss by the rover and we're giving up a huge play.
As for some of the other guys people have mentioned, Ford and Bucky would be big losses, but if only one of them went down we'd still have other guys (Malleck, Philips) who could at least pick up the slack. Motu is a question mark himself, so right now he can't be considered indispensable. Really the only other guy who has a case is Sam Rogers cause, well, Sam Rogers.
And I'll agree that one injury to just about any OLineman and we're up a creek, but I was mostly referring to defensive players. I think we could even lose a DE and Dooley would do just fine. Rover is the only position where a loss seems like it would seriously handicap the defense, as it takes away our best free hitter and forces Foster and Gray to shuffle guys around and probably limits what they can do in the back end.
Having two ends that could easily break the 10 sack plateau is scary

Change the name to the Washington Braves. After all, they were the Boston Braves before they were the Washington Redskins, and they can keep all the same icons.
Then the political correctness types can focus their energies on some other meaningless quest. Like attacking the Washington Braves.

Yes, the technology was there, but I don't think many people in 2010 thought that a sports network could broadcast via the internet, and reach all of its target demographic without airing anything on cable. That is starting to change.
Side note, but as someone who cut cable and just uses an apple TV, it's a HUGE pain in the ass when we have a game on the ACC network, and is thus blacked out on WatchESPN. If anyone has a streaming solution, let me know.
When Foster said OSU is Georgia Tech, he was talking about the philosophy of defending the Meyer spread. Foster will have two or three things he'll do to try to disrupt the mesh point, the first decision the QB has to make (just like GT).
The key to the OSU run game is to keep VT's tackles out of the backfield using only 2 blockers.
It is statistically a convinence sample. I don't appreciate you trying to prove a point by disputing the term he used. It is unnecessary. You made a valid point with your comparison to slavery opinion polls so there is no reason to dispute his use language he used.
For me, when I went to go purchase season tickets online, at the checkout page it listed where my seats would be.
I'm not sure if that was because I'm a Hokie Club member (albeit not that influential), or what, but I was able to know where I'm sitting from the moment we ordered the tickets

Reavis not enrolled at VT, appealing student conduct decision University Honor System doesn't have hearings during the summer, so it wasn't cheating/plagiarism if he was just disenrolled this week. Also, having served on several university honor panels, and trying to get a consensus on guilt, and then a consensus on what level of sanctions to issue was like pulling teeth. I once did one where we had an open and shut case, and people were reluctant to adjudicate to where the kid could be given the double weighted zero. To straight remove him from school would have been damn near impossible unless he's the world's most infamous cheater AND no one on the panel knew he was going to start on the football team (like it or not, those considerations are made).
But the deal through 2026-27 was made in 2012 or so, when it was pretty well established that streaming was an option.

One would think. I suppose it's possible that offense #2 occurred before the judicial process played out on offense #1. The football team generally does not speak publicly to such matters until the process plays out. I'm not suggesting that this is definitely what happened. Just that it's a possibility.
