Inevitably, players will run into legal trouble during their careers. Turk frequently gets their call and their business.

One of the commentators makes a great point that ESPN on air personalities usually diminish the entertainment value of sports rather than enhance it. I couldn't agree more on that point. I havn't tuned into SportsCenter in probably 5+ years.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I disagree - or at least I enjoy the best of them. Stewart Scott, Dan Patrick, Chris Fowler, Colin Cowherd, Mike & Mike, Tony/Wilbon, SVP and Russillo, Buccigrass and Ryan Burr are people I grew up listening/watching.
Mostly everyone else I despise, but I feel like that's due to their personalities/acts, not the job itself.
'04 is the best. Its really kinda tempered my expectations for this year realizing how mentally tough that team was. Those wins down the stretch were unbelievable, and they just made it happen. Even playing the top 2 teams in the country, we were in the game the whole time.
If Brewer pulls a Randall, we might be ok this year. We have talent, and senior talent, but they just need to learn to win. Im not sure this team knows how to dig deep and win. It was several games in '04 where it didnt look good and they pulled it out. GT, UVa, Miami, UNC were all close games and could have gone the other way at some point.
Young guys are going to have to step up as well, look at all the freshman and r-freshman that made impacts in '04. Royal, Morgan, Hyman, Hall, Adibi all made game saving plays sometime during the season.
Sportcenter was dead for me when they started doing a live entertainment show instead of just running a standard highlight show.

But at least VT is in Blacksburg, and not Philly.
I still watch Tony and Wilbon cause I see so many parallels between them and Statler and Waldorf and the make me laugh sometimes. Other than that I don't watch and of the Espin networks unless there is a game on one of them that I want to watch.
Sorry, I don't see it because "Time Cop" London can't say that at his spring game.

Consensual relations = misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor
Non-consensual relations = felony rape
Well, if you had come back to that beer festival a couple weeks ago...
I mean we all know Bud is just waiting to hunt a man through the woods with is bow Deliverance style.
But it might be best to not overplay our hand.
Made the trip, only could stay for about 18-20 hours, but I was floored with how nice everyone was... and that was after the game. OSU fans were actually hi-fiving my friends and I on a good game by our Hokies. Then again, maybe they all had a vision of them winning the championship so that game was irrelevant in the grand scheme of their season, so who knows.
But Columbus seemed like a pretty cool, bigger college town intertwined in an urban environment that I wish I could've experienced for at least two nights. Nothing bad to say about it. Except that it's not as good as Blacksburg.
Just kidding... but seriously.
My only regret is that I have but 1 upvote to give for this post.
In order to sign the petition, each should submit a video of themselves being struck in a similar fashion to that shown in the De'Andre Johnson video.
BTW, it's not suspended indefinitely, he's been dismissed from the team.
The state of VT sports and Philly sports also have some very sad and distinct parallels.
Good but not great football, with multiple close calls and a championship loss, and no more than 1 other sport really good at one time with most wired in mediocrity with only coaching changes to bring hope.
So are you saying VT is as bad as it gets now?
I found it really odd the festivities were so spread out on the calendar. There were events the previous weekend too, and many things took place on July 3rd.
I will likely get beaten up for this, but I've never enjoyed Tyson's and a vast majority of "NoVA" (as they term it on VTs campus). I live currently across the Potomac River in MD and it, too is a sprawling mess (hell, this is true for the whole DC Metro area). Blacksburg and the rest of SW VA, on the other hand, has beautiful weather and landscape during late spring thru early fall (winter can be longer some years due to the mountainous location).
...damn I miss being there...
Agree on Beamer. I can't imagine any confrontation with him ending in physical violence. He'd either be very diplomatic and diffuse the situation, or just bedazzle you with so much coachspeak that you'd forget what you were even mad about and just walk away confused.
I've lived in both states for considerable years of my life and I would honestly prefer Ohio. Not starting an argument and this has nothing to do with football but I enjoy my time there more than here.
Because it actually makes a difference, where in VA did you live? I can understand that you may prefer OH based on certain qualities, but, honest to goodness, you cannot beat the serenity and beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. (At least, I imagine most of OH is pretty flat to slightly hilly from my first impressions driving thru OH.)
I agree on Addazio. He looks like someone for whom cannabilism would NOT be the last option for survival.

you could probably just skip all of that and ask her (or him, I'm not going to judge) to spell CV. If they get it right then you're golden. If they get it wrong you should steer clear
