And for the life of me I cant understand why anyone would take RGIII, Dan Snyder, 4 HC's and 1 playoff appearance a decade over consistent deep playoff runs and 2 HC's over the same time.

Believe it or not there are people out there that cheer for a team because it is their hometown team where they grew up, no matter how bad it gets. Imagine that

Thanks so much for this!

My only exposure to lambics has been fromboise, which I do not care for. I've only ever liked citrus fruit profiles in beer, anything else turns me off. I wasn't even aware there were non-fruit lambics. Putting those on the list.

If Revolution Rosa is any indication, I am not a fan of hibiscus infused beer either, but I'll give the Boulevard option a shot.

Did you know Mike London was a cop? Does Jarrett Boykin have large hands?

When he does come back, I fear that each game it will start with "Shai McKenzie spent 15 days in jail this summer due to sex with a minor."

I don't know if he should stay or go. I guess we'll just have to see how he handles himself from here.

It's the responsibility of the adult to know if she's lying about her age or not.

Am I the only one that finds this a little far fetched? She could be a really good liar especially if she was getting what she wanted. I seriously doubt he carries around a pocket lie detector. When I was a freshman in college, I didn't ask to see ID to every girl that showed interest in me.

Nope. She can say it's consensual all she wants, but it's nullified by the fact that she is not of the age of majority to make that decision. There are no legal ramifications against her for consenting either. Similarly, you may enter into a contract with someone under 18, but it is voidable at the discretion of the minor with no legal recourse. Minors are shielded from a great deal of legal liability in most instances.

A quick Google check informed me that it is legal, with varying degrees of permission required, for girls as young as 13 (New Hampshire) to marry. I don't believe this is a good thing, but it just shows how differently age is viewed in the whole morass of teen sexuality, depending on various circumstances and locations. My brother's wife is 16 years his junior, my next door neighbor's wife is 15 years younger than him. Yes, consenting adults, I'm happy for them all, much different than minors, but an 18 year old isn't much more than a minor and it seems that total banishment in a case like this might not be the fairest approach, but that's just my opinion. Again, please understand, I am not condoning what happened, just trying to figure out how outraged to be about this particular incident. I am tempted to blame the girl's parents at least as much as Shai, though.

I didn't really see his opinion in there..granted I only read 1 paragraph. It sounded more like Whit was just keeping with the norm, so to speak. Sure alcohol made sense in Cincy so they had it. No Big Deal. VT is more conservative and only sells alcohol in suites. Whit is okay with that and he has no plans to change it. That's what I got out of the blurb I read...

Madison is great. I lived on the Rapidan for a couple years before moving back to blacksburg. Was this close to trying to buy some land and building a house there

Yeah, the outcome of these cases vary wildly for everyone. With how extremely strict Virginia is with this kind of thing it really comes down to the judge and jury. One set could have tossed him in the slammer for years while another would do this. People have become way to quick to demand rolling heads in the past few years without knowing 1/10th of what is going on.

In our defense, this post was squirreled WAY before this.

Btw, did you hear about the guy who invented Lifesavers? They say he made a mint.

Yes to all of those things. 2005 was my first year out of the dorms and in an apartment and I had a kick ass roommate and kick ass friends and had a blast that year. That was one of those semesters where you reminisce about it in montage form.
