I agree there are definitely differences between the Dutch and the Native Americans, the main one being over the whole Manhattan real estate fraud scam.
You mean how the Dutch bought Manhattan from the Canarsee tribe that lived on Long Island by trading items that while plentiful in Europe, were unavailable to the Native Americans and then when they found out that the Wappinger Confederacy actually owned Manhattan later, they payed for it again?
Also remember that all commerce is about exchanging something you value less for something you value more. The Native Americans valued the European goods (typically things like cloth, clothing, metal tools, guns, and ammunition) more than they valued a swampy island. Similarly the Dutch valued an island in a harbor into which Hudson River flowed more than they valued the trade goods that were plentiful in Europe. Further, the deal was good for both sides in that it allowed for further contact and trade between the groups, meaning that the Native Americans were able to trade things like furs that they had less use for but were in high demand in Europe, for more of the European goods that they weren't able to produce as efficiently if at all.
My suggestion was to go the Prince route:

That was definitely a fun season. I think the losses to Miami and especially Florida St were so decimating emotionally that it took away from that year for me.
What a day, driving back from Jacksonville, listening to us about to upset #1 Duke in basketball when a half court buzzer beater foiled that. It was a silent ride the rest of the way.
The GT game was awesome, it seemed like that day lasted forever with Gameday etc. The Louisville game, even though a win was a let down. We didnt play like a top 10 team, just left a sour taste. Kind of how that whole season went.

Don't buy an inexpensive car stereo from a shady guy in a trenchcoat and you won't have to worry about getting charged with receiving stolen property.

Would it be dumb to ask where you're located? And +1 to anything Boulevard and the Anderson Valley Gose, great breweries/beers and fairly easy to find.

He's 20, and legally, it is his responsibility to confirm her age.
I guess I'm just saying there are varying degrees of wrong-ness.
Everyone gets that from a moral standpoint, this is not clear cut. If he was misled to believe that she was of age, then it's an honest mistake on his part. If he was aware, or had any suspicion, then he knowingly broke a fairly black-and-white law.
We all know that football players get special privileges that normal students/citizens don't (in this case, free access to a very good lawyer). When it's a DIP, and Bucky gets off, I'm 100% okay with it. But this is a far more serious accusation. I do not know the specifics of this case (ie, was it confirmed that Shia was misled/ignorant of this person's age?), so I have not called for a specific action either way.
I just really hope that this was an honest mistake by Shai, and not another story about a football player dodging the legal system. Like I said in other posts, I trust that our administration is doing the right thing, but I still have my reservations.

I am pleased and not at all surprised by the Nagurski list. That D-line...wow.
Nobody on the Rimington, Groza, or Guy watch lists. Updated though with the Nagurski and Outland trophy lists.

Remember, he's only 18 - it's not like he's a 30 year old cruising around a middle school. Again, not saying I'm pro sex-with-minors. Just that there can be mitigating circumstances, and being one who doesn't know exactly how it went down, I can only trust that the courts got it right.

And herein lies another issue I have with the thought process where "the law is the law and that's all I care about, period"
Do people think there's some sort of revelation that makes people smarter/more responsible on their 18th birthday? In this case, the offenders are still kids, and we know that kids make mistakes. Yeah they broke a law, whether they were aware of that at the time or not... but it's not black and white here.
"Sampling" requires a standardized methodology to be implemented for data collection. That wasn't done here. It was an anecdote.
