The sign back in the corner on the left.. was mine. I can faintly see my 13-year old self pointing at it from the front.
Which results in:

I think Urban may have changed quarterbacks...
Without audio to the situation, you have no idea what happened. He bumped and pushed her from behind. Perhaps she said "hey, back the eff off a**hole" and he responded with some profanity of his own. In that case, I can imagine her trying to hit or slap him. Then he lays hands on her to restrain her, so she uses the only appendage that isn't being restrained to create distance (pretty much the first thing they teach you in self defense). Raising a fist may be seen as aggression, but laying hands on her, even to restrain her makes her next move of pushing him away with her knee not one of aggression but one of defense.
If you want to argue that they both should be charged, that's one thing. But to say that she has "earned" what she got is completely inaccurate.
Nice write-up. I agree that VT needs to establish early disruption to what OSU wants to do. If Lane can get into a frenzy early, advantage VT. Nebraska and LSU said Lane was loudest they'd ever played in. Hoping to show OSU the same!
Merci, French. These posts really help my football IQ
I agree. The problem I have with many posters on here is that I'm 100% certain that they, and even myself probably, would have a different reaction if a small dude was to attempt to attack me as opposed to a girl.
How many times have we all seen a guy that's purely over-matched just get walloped because he was a little too drunk and instigated a fight? We don't all get up in arms about these situations, do we? Why? And why is the girl blameless in the same situation, all the sudden it's 100% the fault of the retaliator?
The answer is it should be no different, but we all know it is, and that's why equality is still evading us. I'm not saying that he was justified to knock that girl into next week and he's being punished accordingly, but she doesn't get a pass here either.

Feeling even better about this match-up now.
As always, you deliver. Thank you French!
Yes it did!
So you're telling me there's a chance?
Great write up. I appreciate the time and effort to dissect these other games, and I enjoyed reading the summary of how we stack up. Hopefully Bud can throw a few wrinkles in his scheme, our men in the trenches come hungry, and the studs on the outside keep leverage. It's going to be a great game, a great chess match.
I miss those two along with the uniforms we were before he current ones
So much victim blaming in here, for a second I thought I had stumbled into Warchant.
I was there!
Then the QB looks the to the other side and sees Ken Ekanem...

# | Dadi Nicolas on 2015 Hokies, "I've never been a part of a team that's been more special ever" So you are telling me Urbie will need all 3 of his QB's on labor day?
It must be shocking to you that people may have different opinions on various topics in life. Glad you are learning new things.
by the way... it's BrYan Randall.

You have that completely backwards. Watch the actual video. His response was, well, CrimiNoley inappropriate. She is guilty of, at worst, being antagonistic, obnoxious and way overestimating her physical prowess, but that did not come close to justifying the response.
Dayum.....

Mike London:

Yeah, snippets and sound bites make it hard.
