Japan's 2 goals were on a PK and an own goal. Offensively, they had nothing going. We just need to capitalize more often and actually hit the back of the net and we'll get our revenge.
or if we utilize all 3 of our TEs and RBs more in the passing game. We have enough weapons to spread the touches around and force a defense to stay honest. Just depends on if SL uses them better.

seems like a bit of a stretch. he definitely had a good year, but it was more about their offensive system imo. he had 1/4 of his yards last season against us and they were all jump balls where our DBs played like French had done an article on earlier trying to play their hands. They were routine catches for him because he was high pointing the ball.
Nice town? Other than ECU, it's a sh:t hole. When I was stationed at SJAFB in Goldsboro, we sent our flight surgeons to Greenville (Pitt memorial) to learn how to treat gunshot wounds so they could deploy w our Air Transportable Hospital to the Middle East.

seriously. we need a billionare to set up a mechbot endowment so that VT can have one running out to Enter Sandman on gameday, shooting 20' flames in the air. With t-shirt gaitlin gun for sideline use during the game of course and a shoulder mounted cannon named "skipper jr" that shoots a football 80+ yards for halftime field goal shenanigans.

During that time, I remember coming up with a 16 team league that was 8 teams in the Big 12 region, and 8 in the ACC region. I think I had something like the West with the 4 Texas schools, 2 OK schools, and 2 Kansas schools. (I figured Iowa State would fly to the Big Ten and get paired up with Iowa). The East would be FSU, Clemson (the two that were more linked to jumping ship), Miami (would come with FSU), VT, WVU, UVA...and I can't remember who the other two were.
