Monteith clones? Not sure what you mean by that. Hopefully referring to the fact the buildings all look alike. Can't clone Congressional Medal of Honor awardees. Here is the story on Robert Femoyer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Femoyer

# | Bitter blog - Bud Foster Q&A, Part II: '14 defense's challenge will be replacing experience It really is amazing that the Glennon's are the only ones in this category. For UVA, the Thomas/Julius Jones defection hurt badly and the Mihota/Walker situations have happened recently. I'm sure there are more.
I like soccer because there are no timeouts or stopping the clock. There is extra time for injuries if needed. Most of football is guys just standing around. Actual play time is less than half or a third of the running clock time. (Baseball is worse). All the timeouts and game breaks are designed to offer a minimum number of advertising opportunities. That is the intent of the 2MW in the NFL. Iwould be in favor of shorter games. Three plus hours is a big time commitment to watch on TV. It takes even more time to be at the game. There are only 60 minutes on the clock in football yet the game takes over three hours? Nothing is happening for every two out of three minutes of the event.
Hokie gospel right here:
(hard to exclude any of it for a quote) but these stood out for me:
"... weve had Terrell Edmunds sign with us, thats actually the 26th set of brothers, ..."
"...I think what it makes a statement about is the guy down at the end of the hall and how we treat people on a day-to-day basis."
"the kids play the way they play for you because of the relationships you develop, amongst the coaches and players. Thats the one thing Im proud of that weve been able to do: build that culture."
GO HOKIES!!!
So you're saying Holland Fisher is a transformer?
Cold numbs your taste buds.
Sam Rogers once got into a knife fight and the knife lost.
Sam Rogers doesn't have a chin under his helmet, just another fist.
Excerpt worth posting:
On June 1, 1918, Williams' command was sent to support the French army at Belleau Wood. As the Marines arrived, they found French troops retreating through their lines. A French colonel, attempting to acquaint the Americans with the realities of the situation and not trusting his spoken English, scribbled a note to Williams, ordering them to retreat. The Marine officer looked at the Frenchman coldly and said, "Retreat, hell! We just got here." Williams reported the incident to his battalion commander with the following message: "French drawing back through us. French major ordered me to withdraw with him. Told him to 'go to hell'."
hmmm... I am noticing a correlation between French and retreating. GO HOKIES!!!
ACC All Freshmen team running a small lineup out onto the floor with three guards and two forwards. Congrats to Devin. He really was one of the only things worth watching. His development was absolutely noticeable from the first game to the last in his confidence to take the ball into the lane and improved free throw shooting. He averaged about 35 minutes a game. He and Eddie were the only two over 30 MPG this year. Still needs to work on protecting the ball and better shot selection but I am looking forward to him next year.
What absolute badasses. That is insane. Two of them were athletic enough that they didn't even need to be in war, and they still gave their lives protecting others, and fighting for our country.
A garbage man from New Jersey?

Thanks Joe, I about lost my lunch looking at them.
fun fact is that his full name was Lloyd William Williams, so ya know, must've been real popular with the ladies....
They also mention the story in the movie Battle LA, since the Marines in it are from his old battalion and it is still their motto.
I bet this is the same story you told your wife...
"But honey, I swear I was just browsing on TKP. I've never even been to that site!"
Alternatively, TKP is a front for an International Dating Site Ring.
"RETREAT!? Hell no We just got here!"
(making game signs up as I write)
These uniforms are
the most repulsive things I've ever seen.
Edit: Joe beat me to it.
I am SO glad these are fake...hideous!!
Malcolm Delaney once tweeted that he refused to talk to Louisville when they recruited him b/c they weren't a Nike school. It's a huge asset in recruiting.
Also, love the signature.
I saw the title and wondered if this thread would be about flipping NC State and Nevada recruits, to which I would have responded "why?"
Carry on, ladies and gents.

You could pretty much substitute the word 'French' with 'UVA' in that excerpt and it would still be accurate.
