They were going to name a bridge after Sam Rogers. But nobody crosses Sam Rogers
When Chuck Norris donates blood, he breaks the needle
When Sam Rogers donates blood, he breaks the bank
I'm getting off topic but... where are you at in China??? I'm in Guangzhou right now working as "Overseas Operation Specialist" lol I love the titles they give here... I've been here ever since graduating (so almost 4 years in May)
The standard questions are: Where are you from? How long have you been in China? Do you like China? Do you like Chinese food? Why did you come here? Can you use chopsticks? Do you have a Chinese girlfriend? I feel like making a recording of my bio and just leaving it whenever I meet someone new.
Sam Rogers once lapped Chuck Norris. In a Drag Race.
I went to the Dominican Republic a few years back. At the resort I was staying at, I met another Hokie who was class of '04. We talked for a while at the poolside bar and come to find out that I was friends with her sister, who was class of '07 with me. Pretty cool "small world" moment.
Chuck Norris has a Grizzly Bear carpet in his room, its not dead, its just afraid of Sam Rogers
I agree that he is a whip / rover type. I don't think he has the frame to play mike or backer. He got off blocks againt high school competition in his film, but I think he might be gobbled up by D1 offensive linemen. For comparison, he's only a few pounds heavier than Antone Exum was at the same stage..
He does operate very nicely in space, and has very fluid motions. In fact, I think Exum is a pretty good comparison. The mental aspect of the safety positions slowed Antone down a bit at first, so Bud / Torrian slid him down to the nickle. Antone could just play ball at the nickle spot, since his assignments were typically man up on a slot guy. I could see Holland being used in a similar role to get him close to the line of scrimmage.
hahaha who knows... maybe it's because I'm currently in Guangzhou, Guangdong China and I visit this site everyday?? ^_^ my bad!
It's even better hearing the Hoos whine about it here. "I can believe we lost to MARYLAND...they're not even going to be in the ACC anymore."
Did Sam Rogers approve this??!!
Chuck Norris once sued NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.
Hey Frenchie, good article. Most of the celebration of Fisher as a safety came from his camp performances. He was big on the Rivals circuit and participated as a safety every time, because that's what he wants to play in college. He was able to cover man to man and had quite a few interceptions in those 1 on 1 situations. He was rated so highly, and so coveted by Bama, because he definitely has SS potential. I think he's probably just another linebacker, but a game breaking SS if he can make it work. That's what I'm pulling for.
Chuck Norris and Sam Rogers high-fived once. We now know this event as The Big Bang.
For the most part, I believe those ads pick up your cookies on your computer/phone or even google history. Did you google anything related to international dating?
Virginia Tech should just stay away from alternate uniforms and helmets as a whole.
This.
Anyone willing to research the correlation between the number of "special uniforms" in a season, and the number of losses? And if said losses fell on a special uniform day (looking at you Miami '05)
I know right. Now I can't go a full day without checking www.recruitfarts.com
I'm still in shock that the Hokie Stone and Fighting Gobbler Helmets were included and not the atrocious Foghorn Leghorn Helmets.

The dudes a beast, I live here in Midlothian and Iv been hearing about how good this kid is since he was a sophomore at Clover Hill High in 2010. I'm really excited to see what he can do come August and see if he gets a starting job whether in may be at LB or in the D Block backfield.
I wouldn't mind having another Kam Chancellor on the field laying the boom.
The day I found TKP

also tied for second place:
the 2nd week of the 2nd month of being at VT. I met two of my best friends ever on my freshman hall.
and, going into a government meeting with a Mayor of 2nd Tier Chinese city about a design project and answering the same standard questions they always ask: I'm from Mei Guo (USA); grew up in Nevada, yes the same state as Las Vegas, sure I'll take you sometime. haha... gambling is so great; I went to school in Virginia and then Australia; My university was Virginia Tech....
Always the same thing, and then he says "My daughter just graduated there. She's an engineer. I went to visit during her graduation." and then in English "Go Hokies!" Has been a great client for me ever since.
Their 'friends' have to be good enough. I mean how many unhot friends are hot girls allowed to bring to a frat party?
Top players feel like they know eachother already when they get to campus. I remember the instant bond that Kevin Jones and Dlo Hall had - they roomed together freshman year even.
It couldn't have been the library.
hmmm interesting would like to see us do it
The Hokie Stone one wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't do such a piss-poor job of designing it. They didn't even try to match the pattern along the seam down the centerline.
VT athletics has never been known for design skill. I say next hire someone else to come up with a special helmet/uni.

I agree with everything here (especially getting rid of the verbal commit). I also say schools aren't allowed to 'offer' a scholarship until a high school student is half way through junior year. Also, once a player is offered a scholarship, that offer cannot be revoked (unless student fails classes, gets into trouble with the law, etc).
I'm ok adding additional signing date(s). I imagine the recruiting process can be quite draining. If players have a decision in mind, and don't want to receive 100 letters from other coaches, then they should be able to sign early. If a regular student can apply to a school 'early decision', college athletes should be able to do so too.
